Hey guys I have been noticing a hesitation on my 03 xb9s 9000 miles. 1st, 2nd and 3rd especially when I romp on it the rpms come up, but the bike lags for a couple seconds before it takes off. I adjusted the clutch 1200 miles ago, but it seems like slippage. Anyone have insight? Thanks |

Thats the wierd part the bike runs great. I had a 1000 mile trip two weekends ago and didnt have the problem. I just took it out for a spin today, warmed up of course, and romped on it in first and around 4000 rpms the bike stopped accelerating, while the rpms continued to rise. Around 5500 rpms the bike began to accelerate at the rate in which it normally would. Same symptoms for each shift up. Very strange. |

I am going to try running it for an extended period of time. Maybe my quick little spin around town didn't give it time to make adjustments to the change in the weather, who knows. |
