OK, so this problem has been pretty constant since my bike was in the shop last, it was in the shop to get a crack in the exhaust pipe welded. Every morning when I go out to the bike to head to work, I fire it up and it idles very rough, and will actually die if I let it. Normally after I get to work, it will idle fine just before I park it. The same with happen when I am done with work, which is roughly 10 hours later. Today I went for a ride and just about every time I stopped at a light, the engine light came on. After I reved it for a couple seconds, it would go out, and it ran just fine otherwise. I just checked the codes with the flashing light check, jumperd pin 1 and 2 at the connector on the neck, and it is flashing 16, battery voltage. Now I know some of you are thinking "dumb ass, there is your answer", but I had recently changed the battery, so with that being said could it be something else causing this or do I have a bad battery? |

Did the shop arc weld on the bike? If so, do you know if they took normal precautions to protect the electronics? |
