IIRC there are only two re-flashes. #1: Charging and fans. ( April 29, 2008: Buell Motorcycle Company is releasing an updated Electronic Control Module (ECM) calibration for all 1125R motorcycles built prior to April 04, 2008. The new/updated ECM calibration provides improved cold and hot restart functionality and improved throttle response. The updated calibration also provides optimized electrical system draw and electrical accessory operation. ) #2: Fuel mapping 16Sep08 (VERY GOOD if not great) (This is for the DTII update released on September 16, 2008. It only affects 2008 models (all 2008 Helicon models are eligible).) There was rumor of one in July but, that one never materialized. Just trying to keep things clear. Anyone know different? We just may need to change the title of this thread (oh no!) Thx Neil S. |

CC, I just got a letter (Safety Recall)from BMC regarding the flash and it states that this latest flash is free for '08 models built prior to July. I guess those with July, August and half of the Sept builds are on their own dime. FYI

I assume July builds already have this calibration from the factory and as far as I know they switched to 09 builds starting in August. So that would mean no 08's were left out in the cold. |

Mine is a July build and I did not have the latest Flash. Must have been an early July. Just got the letter for the re-call today as well and its prior July 18th. (Message edited by xbswede on September 29, 2008) |
