Great pics Vap! Obligatory pic, I don't have any new ones of the bike, so this pic of HWY60 near Suches (Home of March Badness, and Buelltoberfest) will have to do.

1997 S3 Buell Trike It's a Kit from http://FRANKENSTEINTRIKES.com http://mcworx.com/FShome.html
Is this cool or what?!?! My wife loves it. Handles straight and true to over 100MPH
Here is the axle. Send in your swing-arm, and they cut and weld on the bracket.
NOTE: this bike has also been lowered @ the rear.

Here's a couple pictures from our recent trip down to St Louis. Just thought these 2 were cool. Only had the S3T for a week before we left. It didn't hiccup the entire 1200 mile trip. Great bike!! |

It's the Buell aftermarket one for the bike. It was on there when I bought it. I was going to take it off, but it actually looks a little better with it on. The tank bag I modified the mounting hardware so I can use it on the S3 or my 12S with no problems. |

From a distance, something's different with the XT-BOLT...
What could it be?
Oh my! It's beginning to look a lot like Halloween!
After seeing that WICKED skull airbrushed on the American Sport Bike open air box lid some time ago I've been searching for the perfect way to make the XT-BOLT stand out without directly copying the idea. An idea hit me that something appropriate for the task might unearth itself around Halloween time. From these modest beginnings:
Everyone's digging the results, but really wish I could've found something closer to the size and shape of the American Sport Bike open air box lid. Plus I had to cut away so much of the mask to fit it under the intake cover it doesn't exactly jump out as one as being a skull at first glance. 1313 |

1313- Did you paint/powdercoat your rims or buy OEM red rims off a Lightning??? IMHO- Bike stands out would be a understatement ... LOVE IT....would be appropriate... Cheers-pete |

Thanks for the nice comments guys! 4_pete_sake, They're the OEM red rims. I've never trusted re-powdercoating Buell rims. In the pic above they are just dirty. I have a hard time keeping my bikes clean as I enjoy riding them more than cleaning them. Here's a pic (with my own crappy camera) at Hal's during Homecoming when the wheels were (and the rest of the bike was) clean.
Maybe that pic should be entitled "Which touring bike would you prefer to ride?", 1313 |

Seeing that skull made me think, what if you crinkled up some aluminum foil and then put it inside the cover shiny side up? Anybody tried this yet? |
