Like a good boy I first posted in the Knowledge Vault. And when I get an answer I will post that in the Knowledge Vault. But since I have waited weeks for answers there, and gotten them in minutes here and on BB&D, I will also post here - so that way I'm covered, right? And the KV will also be updated, right? The local dealer looked and looked, and could not find the part number for the little plastic push pins that hold the wiring harness to the frame (XB9S in this case, but the same for all XBs). Anybody got the part number? I don't think I will be 'lucky' and be able to reuse them. |

"15) C0037.02A8 STRAP, rear wire harness mount" This came from the 08 parts manual, page 115, SWITCHES, SENSORS & ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS |

Hmmm... those are the push pins used all over the place? They aren't straps, they are plastic push pins. |

in the pic below, I gave you the part no for #15. This isn't it? You need the part no for #14? "14) C0033.02A8 FASTENERS, tree, plastic (black) (7)" (Message edited by buellinachinashop on September 24, 2008) |

That looks like them! Called the dealer, looks like he thinks he found it but with a different P/N: 11785 Seems like a short P/N, but he has the ones you mention, so between them I am covered! He says the shaft diameter is the difference. Possibly one is used in the rear, and the other is used elsewhere? Thanks VERY MUCH - I will post up which one works. |

C033.02A8 is definitely the right part number. Thanks, Guys! Got the old harness out last night, and started hooking up the new one. I noticed that my 'new' harness passed QA in 2003, so any changes in manufacture are not in it. Weren't there some 'weak points' in the 2003 harness that I could address now, while it is easy? |

If you don't mind me asking, how much is a new harness? |
