Jim, Wasn't Bubs a breath of fresh air this year. Waiting in line for no more than an hour. 3-5 runs a day if you wanted them! I loved it!! |

Got it but was not as easy as I thought, bike had been slower each run but was running well, traced to clutch slipping. Ran a backup of 206 --not enough for red hat. We went back to pits, installed a new clutch in record time and I was back on line. Went 218--more like the old girl we knew. Turned around and went 219+ for a 218+ record--and a red hat. We were pitted with our friend, Richard Assen from New Zealand . All three of us got records at both meets and 200 club and 201 club hats.Very strong showing from our 2 bikes!!

Jim, That pegs the cool meter. You have worked VERY hard for that red hat. You earned it. Congrats on the new record. Brad |

Well,it's back to reality. Aussies went home, but the fools--er my friends left the bike with me. Looking to hit El Mirage again this year. Spurred me on to get the darn Buell going as well. If only life would stop getting in the way!! |
