My left turn signals are stuck on, won't cancel. Happened after washing the bike. I'm gonna take the switch assembly apart and dry it out. Any other ideas? Where is the turn signal relay located on this thing? | ||

odds are it will dry out and work fine after a bit. mine did it at march badness after i washed it. well i guess i should say the light on the dash for the turnsignals was stuck since i dont have any turnsignals on it. hasnt done it since. | ||

What happens if you switch it to the right TS - does the left still blink? | ||

Well I got her sittin in the sun. I guess I'll go put the seats back on her and wait to see what happens before I call a dealer for service. | ||

on mine it would just switch to lighting up the other side, then when you turned off the blinker it would go back to the way it was, stuck on the original side(cant remember which it was though) i seem to think it was the left one though also | ||

Xb9, the left side was stuck on, slide it left, right or hit cancel, left side blinkin away. Update-- It now turns off. HOWEVER, no matter which way I slide the switch, the left side comes on. I'll let her dry some more and see what happens, or just make only left turns. (Message edited by badlionsfan on September 22, 2008) | ||

I had similar problems with my XB9 Lightning. After I washed it, the left turn signal would come on and not shut off. I was told this was just a "characteristic" of the bike. Sounds like a possible design issue. I was then careful how much water I put on the switch housing.... | ||

OK, everyone can go back to what they were doing, she's back to normal. It was the first time it had happen, and the XB never did it either. We now return you to your regularly schedule program, already in progress. |
