I am not so patiently awaiting the production of the V-Mod exhaust for the 1125R. I guess they have all the kinks worked out and are just looking for someone to produce the pipes for a reasonable price. The problem being that most manufacturers are not quoting reasonable prices to produce the pipes.

The Jardine pipe is pretty cool and I think it's the best looking one out there so far. Besides, Buells will be of $600.00 I'd bet! Got a Jardine on Ebay for $430.00! Yea thats one on this bike "AINT SO PRETTY" but it may perform maybe we shouldn't judge before the dyno comes out..... |

Individual taste is an amazing thing. I like it, not really for the 1125R tho. Maybe on the CR, it has an Old School Cafe Racer look to it. Maybe a pair of them, with turn-outs would look OK for the R. Z |

Hey Zac, Did you ever get your hands on a stocker for your own research and development? I still haven`t found one yet. |

While a little crude...it looks fine....to me! The "R" Buell...isn't much..if any different than the CR Buell! A slightly different shaped upper fairing...! Where's the Sport/super bike side and lower fairing? It's just a glorified Cafe Racer. That said, maybe painting it black or even polishing it might help/change the look....a little. That big piece of tin can that comes from the factory...what makes it esthetically..."pretty"? There really isn't much one can do to build a visually acceptable exhaust system for the 1125 Buell. You (we, if I buy one) are stuck with the stock can or the car muffler look...period. Or...cover it all with a belly pan. Mike |

The title of the photo above, in my opinion, should be something along the lines of ... "How Not to Suspend a Muffler from a V-Twin Engine." |

My top 5 picks for best looking exhaust for the 1125r. 1. Remus Exhaust. But I don't like the sound 2. HR1 Riot. Looks and sounds good. But no Dyno specs. 3. Jardine pipe. 4. D&D 5. Stocker But thats my personal opinion |

I think the best looking one so far is the stocker. Everything else looks slapped on and does not fit the look of the bike |

I like the Jardine best so far, but only on the CR - I think that bike looks good with the bottom looking bare. For the R, the stocker is best - you need the extra visual weight down there to counter the fairing. |

I picked the Jardine for the looks but mostly the sound. For now it will work until a "GREAT EXHAUST" under $1000.00 comes out. I hope Buell comes out with something. You know it will be awesome. I just cant wait any longer. I agree totally with choppers list. I like the Riot but the no spec kinda has me worried. Jardine has a good rep and R&D.. And at $430.00 shipped I couldn't go wrong. even when I replace it. |

Keep in mind, that as the title states, this is a pre-production image of the pipe. It is not the finished, ready for sale, pipe. V-mod is notorious for V2 performance and they have imported this experience into the performance modifications for the 1125R. This pipe will perform. Once they find somewhere to produce a few, I am sure that the aesthetics will be addressed. If it performs well and sounds awesome, I will paint it black and slap it on. |

I think the best so far is what chevycummins and xbswede did sweet and simple. |

Why cant Buell have a full accessories cataloge like Triumph? Or Harley even?? I think that is the biggest turn off for Buell! I should ALREADY have at least one aftermarket exhaust to choose from. Instead i get these mutant exhausts and total lack of support from the MoCo. I'm trading in my uly this spring and am very interested in the h2o cooled Buells but then theres the speed triple with all the things you can do w it! its makin it tough!! I wanna stay w Buell but after i get it what do i get to do with it afterwards? Ideas? |

I think I'm just gonna get my stock can ceramic coated gloss black so it "flows" with the body parts. |

Don't care what it looks like as long as it gives respectable performance gains as, sadly, no one has come up with one yet. Function over form thanks. Hope we get to see some dyno figures soon |

You might wish to rethink the collector a bit. |
