Over on the Uly board, there's a thread about using CR mirrors on a Uly. An intriguing idea - I like it too - but I was wondering about mirror-jiggle. I know the 1125R mirrors have a tendency to vibrate; are the CR mirrors pretty steady and useful? |

I rode one last week and found the mirrors to be perfect in comparison to the R. |

What would happen if we put a rubber bushing between the mirror and the fairing mount? think that would take some of the vibration out? seems like it should...... Just finding the right bushing may be the hard part.. |

How about a few more square inches of mirror so you can actually see something?! Vibration or not they are merely adequate at best and terrible at night, especially with lots of headlights shining into them. Are the CR mirrors any larger? As you said,a small bushing in the holes or a thin strip of rubber between the mirror and fairing might help. |

Just last night I got the ones on my CR adjusted where I could see out of them, and they work as good as any I have ever seen. Rob |
