hope mine comes in soon. Does it make seeing the warning lights and turn signal lights easier? |

Very Nice I like it. Makes the front look leaner and meaner. |

Thanks all... I think the dark windscreen sure makes for a cleaner look, and yes it does help with being able to see the gauge lights. While I had the screen off I cut a piece of thin gauge aluminum plate and curved it around the cluster were the lights are. Going to paint it flat black and attach it to the outside of the cluster with double sided tape. It is 5-5/8" x 2" and when attached it will come up about 1-1/2" above the top face of the cluster so the lights will be even easier to see. I'll post some pics later when i "git r done". |

I think mine may be in too. Dealer called and left a message saying my "part" was in. Problem is I have a seat and a wind screen on order, guess I'll find out what came in when I get there! |

Got mine on today. I like it, but I wish it were darker. I think I may paint my stock unit black also.

that is sharp... i wonder if stick on window tint would hold up? costs less than a new screen. |

I rode down to Cycle Connection in Joplin, MO and they had a Hero Blue and Kick As windscreen back in the back. So I picked up the Kick Ash and installed it in the parking lot after my ECM was flashed. It did make it a bit easier to see the HUD during the daylight and through my dark Akuma Helmet visor. I might try the window tint idea on the inside but I don't want to paint the factory screen, still need to be able to see a little when tucked real low. One of these day's I'll get off my ass and post some pics of the 1125r. I added the Buell Logo to the Airbox cover as well and it looks great to! *Brushed Aluminum Airbox plate made for XBs.* |

I've actually been thinking about checking into that for my stock clear screen Dtinnan. As long as it was on the inside (I know, duh!) it should hold up fine. |

thats what i'm gonna try (tint inside) i dont want to do a perm change. i keep hoping zero gravity is gonna make a slightly taller windshield for the 1125 like they do the firebolt, then i'll be willing to drop some dollars |

Rob the Buell guy over at Skip Fordyce in Riverside California is loaning one of the bikes to K&N for the 1125R filter and last I heard he is also doing the same for Zero Gravity. |

Dtinnan - I would be REALLY hesitant to put window tint on the windscreen. Any flexing will cause it to pull away from the plastic. I'd steer clear. What I want to see is a translucent (sp?) tint spray that I could apply. |
