One every 24K ??? Have a 105,044.1 Miles as of the last ride ... On my second FRONT ISOLATOR ... "PRODUCT IMPROVE" and put on a Harley-DAVIDSON PN 16207-79D and retro fit it ... That is what "i" will do for the next replacement !!! |

Buell has their own 'cause the Hardley ones are even worse. Seems like the last Buell isolater I bought was crap. It was cracked after about 10K miles then broke with a little pressure from a jack under the engine later. |

The best way to describe the DS243535 is that it re-invorces the isolator ... The -79D more heavy isolator for the BIG CUBIC INCH engines ... The isolator in my 1997 S3T was the H-D PN 16207-79B which was used on the BIG TWINS at that time ... "BUT" if you get the BUELL "BUELLshitte" part number(L0501.T) it is the -79B which used on the BLAST has a shorted life expectancy that when used on the TUBE FRAME ... It also depends what the Factory is packaging too ??? On the isolator is the part number so look for it !!! |

"Buell has their own 'cause the Hardley ones are even worse" Not accurate. HD just updated theirs and so Buell had to re-source them, because the HD update piece wasn't compatible to tubie Buell. The Harley and Buell pieces were equally inferior. |

"YES" and the last time "i" priced the "BUELLschitte" part number, "THE SAME PART WITH A HARLEY-DAVIDSON PART NUMBER FOR THE EXACT SAME PART WAS $28.00 MORE !!! Do not forget that some HARLEY-DAVIDSON parts retro fit to all BUELLs, even the BLAST and the only difference is the "BUELLschitte" part numbering system and the price if in the HARLEY-DAVIDSON(part number) Package !!! Use a "Stenzel Stütze"(release bar made by Stenzel/Germany)and forget the front isolator! My iso is 60Km old now and still looking like new. The Stütze is the best way to avoid broken front engine mounts and head threads as well,IMHO. Ralph

@LaFayette: No,I don´t.On the one hand I never felt any need for them (still riding the first isos) and on the other they would probably interfere with the mounts of my relocators. Ralph

AFAIK it´s still available. It fits all tubers and costs around 80€ http://www.stenzel-parts.de/14375/14321.html Unfortunately Stenzel often needs some time to reply to emails.Don´t ask me why. info@stenzel-parts.de Ralph |
