Posted on ADV, thought I'd try to gather more info here. I have an 07 Uly with 17K miles. The other day, right after my fuel warning light went on, and I pulled off the freeway to get gas, it started dying on me. If I let it go to idle, it would stop, the only way I could keep it running was to race the engine. I had only gone 7 miles since the fuel warning light, so I had plenty of gas. After I filled up (91 octane, up here in the mountains) it still ran weird, like it was being starved for fuel. Felt like maybe a clogged fuel filter, but I had it in for the 15K service just recently. By the time I got home, 15 miles later, all symptoms were gone. Other relevant information: I had this happen once before, but it was raining hard and I've been told that some folks that this is a known issue on some Ulys, apparently an electrical one. However on the recent day it was bone dry. Suggestions? Fuel pump? |
