It's pretty good to have so much stuff, but they need to have better categories for things than "By Brand" "By Price" and "By Seller". For instance, I just looked for a leather jacket, but you can't sort by textile or leather or mesh, like on a dedicated motorcycle store site. And their prices are about the same as other motorcycle sites, so I'm not sure what the advantage is of buying from Amazon. Now, if they get to the point that I can get this stuff through Amazon Prime, then I'll stop there before I go anywhere else. But right now it doesn't seem like they offer anything superior to Dennis Kirk or a similar place. |

Oh, I use Amazon for lots of stuff. I have Amazon Prime, so two-day shipping is free. It's just that they're not actually the ones selling motorcycle stuff, so they can't discount like they do books, movies, etc., and it's not eligible for Prime, so even the fast shipping costs money. I probably get one or two Amazon shipments to my house per week. If this motorcycle thing ever develops like some of the other things they sell, I'm all over it. But I don't see it happening anytime soon. |
