Hey all..... Buell display is great here. I got to get a close look at the Buell race bike and seems to have the '09 exhaust set up as far as O2 placement. And best of all I got to sit on the bike!!

Nice pic. I love that Bike! Did Buell have anything at the Laguna race? I dig the fact that they are getting out there in front of all those race fans! |

The wife and I were going to drive over in the morning(we live in Columbus,Ohio). But with the forecast being 100% rain we didn't want to spend $150 to set in it. Plus waste the fuel. I am extremely pissed. I wanted to see Spies ride in the worst way. And I really wanted to see the Buell trailer. I guess we always have next year. |

Why is SPEED TV not televising the Indy MotoGP (all I see on the schedule is the 250cc race)? They're doing Japan, Australia, Malaysia and Valencia. I don't get it: an American TV channel, skipping out on this historic US GP. Or, does some other network have dibs and I'm missing something?!? (Message edited by Pariah on September 14, 2008) |

Hmmm... I guess it's my local version of NBC, but it's not showing on the schedule for today... plenty of football and Cold Case, though. On the upside, I am getting some AMA Supermoto coverage today. Ridiculous that MotoGP is this hard to find... coverage for F1 is limited here (NASCAR is another story) but much more straightforward to see (all GPs are on SPEED the day of the race). Maybe if I'm lucky, the Supermoto listing is a typo at it's actually the Indy Moto GP that airs today at 2PM. (Message edited by Pariah on September 14, 2008) |

It was a typo! It was Vale, Hayden (go Nicky!) and Lorenzo... and it got stopped early (20 laps?) because of Ike... |

Sheheen and Spencer are normally great commentators. What was wrong with them today! That's about as disorganized as I have ever seen it. Not showing the final results? They should leave covering this kind of an event to the professionals to SPEED. |

I know, there wasn't even a post-race interview! But it was great to hear Schwantz's insights... (Message edited by Pariah on September 14, 2008) |

They didn't know for at least 20 min after the race was stopped whether they would have a re-start or call the race over. Also, it was after the scheduled (delayed) start time of the 250 race before they announced it was canceled. I'm sure there was a lot of frantic behind the scenes "discussion" going on trying to make everyone happy given the circumstances. The Buell truck provided me a needed rest (my ankle was swelling badly from the walking) by providing chairs, fans, TV, and cold bottled water. Kudos to Buell for being so friendly to everyone- it was open to all. I thanked them for the hospitality, and for segregating the XB's from the aesthetically challenged models. I got a big smile, chuckle and a wink for that comment. |
