I was just wondering how many people were brought over to Buell by the 1125R & CR. |

This is my second Buell. I can credit the 1125 with keeping me on a Buell though. I had just done test rides on the Daytona 675 and Speed Triple at the local Triumph store the day they announced the 1125. I would be riding one of those bikes now, but for the 'R'. Thanks, Buell! Jack |

The R is the reason that I`m not hanging out on kraut boards. |

This is my 2nd Buell. I had an '04 XB12R from '05 to '07 and loved it dearly. I heard news about the 1125R when I was sitting on '06 12R's at the local HD shop. This must have been summer of '07. |

This is my 1st Buell. I wanted something different other than a cookie cutter japanese bike. Overall i like the bike, I just need to get over all these annoying little problems. Im used to bikes that run right out of the box with zero issues. Scott |

This is my 3rd ('03 XB9R-wrecked,'97 M2-traded for 1125R). I also test rode a Speed Triple and Super Duke before buying the 1125R. The Speed Triple was the most comfy and had plenty of power but I just had to have another Buell. |

the 1125R is my first Buell, and have 7 other bikes. Bought it in February and I am hooked. Absolutely LOVE this bike. 15059 miles and counting. It definitely has it's 'personality' problems, but really, what bike doesn't? Rocket Ray |

The R is my second Buell. I seriously considered switching to another bike when I lost my XB. But the R brought em back to Buell. |

It's my first Buell. I also have an '07 sportster (Storz XR1200) and an '08 Yamaha FJR. Both of the other bikes have pretty much sat since getting the 1125 a few weeks ago. I've been following this model since before it was released. Didn't' think I could handle it. Now I see that it's the sweetest riding bike I own. I plan to trackday mine and think it's a great choice because of the docile power and handling that makes the bike disappear as you ride. |

The 1125R is my 4th Buell. I still have 2 of the others (a Blast and an M2). I tend to collect a few bikes - I enjoy buying wrecks at insurance auctions and rebuilding them. I like putting them back in stock or close to stock form. This hobby is NOT a money maker - but provides a good opportunity to drink an adult beverage (or 2) and smoke a cigar in my garage while enjoying my hobby. That being said, I have owned BMWs (4 different models), Kawi's (3 different models), etc - you get the idea. I prefer a twin to a 4 - generally speaking, simpler to work on. Since I like to fix the ones that get wadded up, I have shade tree mechanic appreciation for elegant engineering. Buell's have always had that. IMHO, the 1125R is the pinacle of elegant engineering. Oh yeah - the 1125R and Blast were purchased brand new (not wrecks). The M2 is a salvage. And yes, I am certain to buy yet another new Buell motorcycle in the future. Not sure if it will be in the Uly family or something else. |

Thanks y'all. I was just wondering. Looks like each new Buell brings more riders. Tubers, XBs, and Water Cooled. It's also good to hear all the good reviews from those that have experience with other bikes as well. Anyone else? |

Loretta is my second Buell, certainly not my last. First was an 03 XB9R (used) with 300 miles on it and a bunch of accessories. I was looking at it on the floor while they looked for a clutch cable for my '82 FXWG. The dealer threw it in for free, 'cause the clutch cable for my Shovelhead cost 7600 bucks.... I put 20k miles on that Firebolt and thought it was the best bike I had ever ridden. Then I got Loretta. I don't know how a company can improve the best by this much. Erik and the Elves are AMAZING. The 1125R is my first Buell, though I have been wanting one since I first saw the XB models in 2003. Lusted after a Uly since 2006, and finally pulled the trigger on the 1125R in April this year. Now, if I could only get that Uly and find a cheap S1W to restore... |

It is my first buell,. I got to ride my buddys XB and wanted one ever since but couldn't afford one. When i gave my soon to be wife her ring and asked her to marry me that next weekend she went and put a down payment on the 1125R. Sweet deal. of course i had to sell my honda to finish paying off her ring.. |

The 1125R is my 3rd Buell. First one was a '03 XB9S bought new. Wrecked it in '05 and decided to part it out. Bought an '06 Uly rode it for a year and sold it in beginning of '08 to fund the 1125R purchase. |

My 1125r is my 2nd brand-new buell, my first love was an 05 XB12r which had to be traded in to afford my 1125. But i plan on getting another air-cooled buell when the money is right, maybe a uly xt or something upright. I guess im not an good example since the 1125 didn't bring me to the brand but has definitely secured my love for buell and will be the only bikes i want in my stable. and if i hit the lotto today my goal would be to own every model buell up till now |

I haven't bought one yet, but the 1125R is the first Buell that's made my short list when I'm looking to upgrade. It's the first Buell I've actually wanted to own. Harley engines... No. |
