Ok I dont know if this has been talked about before but I have just watched the new Indana jones movie and could not help but notice that the motorcycle is incorrect for the time period. I mean the body work may be correct but the engine is not. I noticed that the engine is a newer big twin not a pan head like it should be. Has anyone eles noticed this besides me? Also the sound for the bike is not right either. |

I was too dumbfounded by the cartoon CGI groundhogs to notice that flaw. Just one of many in that movie. |

Actually I know the guy that provided the bikes (Justin Kell - Rank and File Motorcycles) Rank and File Motorcycles They needed some bikes that could be RIDDEN and NOT doing any green screen "tricks" - so in order to "look" like period bikes, they just went with springer front ends and kept the disc brakes. Kinda makes sense when you think about abusing some REAL period motorcycles. Interesting work but the customer base is really picky and whiney. |

I always thought it would be cool to work for the motorpool that supplied vintage bikes and cars to the movies and tv shows. |

I noticed it. I also noticed that the crystal skulls didn't appear to be REAL crystal! I mean, what's up with that? |

the spaceship didn't look anything like the real one either. The lighting was from a later period ship. |

I noticed as well - it's a twin cam with disc brakes. They did a good job in getting the "look", though. If you'll notice, the tank is actually from a late-model Sportster with the larger tank. |

the skull looked like it was made out of polly propylene plastic. it just didn't look like it had the weight of a crystal skull. But then again it is just a movie, and i liked it! |

REALLY?!? Yeah, right! Next thing you will be saying that STAR WARS was not real either!! It's real but not completely accurate with sketchy details as it happened a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. |

Looks like a stock FLSTSC to me...Springer Classic. Paint scheme is a little different (teardrop 2 tone) but it looks like a stocker, right down to the clear lens headlight with bar and shield logo in the middle. Oh, and p&a saddlebags |
