Playing it by ear for tomorrow. Will check the radar in the am & if its relatively clear I will be meeting Dennis near Delaven. Hwys 14&11 at 8:30 for those of you so inclined. Then we ride to Janesville to meet a few more folks. God I hope the weather holds up. A real light rain that doesnt last all day will not stop me. But if its pouring out forget it. |

Mennis, MikeJ, Dyna, Mrs. Dyna, Roger and the other Roger... The Slimey Crud was real fun. Glad to have met y'all as now I have faces to go with the usernames. Isn't weather in WI a confusing issue. Not a drop all day and I was roasting in Pine Bluff. Am looking forward to many more events like today and plan to see you at the BRAG meetings. FYI, anyone reading this post that did not make the Slimey Crud run, about all I can say is you missed out on a great time. Plus, no rain or wind! Well, at least no wind until I was a mile from home. Oh well, perhaps next year, eh? CMJ...Yes to Tuesday nights BRAG Meeting. Concerning Saturday, I believe I left Hal's long before you got there. LOL. Have a great day!!! Bill |

Oops, gotta go read the Uke's pages. Anyway, I had a little rain as I left my place for the first 10 miles, then a few minor sprinkles on the way to Oconomowoc. There I saw a Firebolt in a gas station so I stopped in to fill my tank and it turned out to be Roger heading to the crud run as well. Not a drop of rain after that heading west. On the way home not a drop until I got to Hartford on hwy 60. From there to home it started getting worse. When I pulled into the driveway I was in a cloud burst. One hour later and it was clear and dry outside. I should have hung around Leyland for another hour and I would have stayed dry. Good meeting everyone. |

Bill, No, I just slept in, went to Church (which I've seriously neglected with riding this summer), and went shopping ! I did however wish I had gone when I saw how nice the weather turned out, but VERY glad I didn't get caught out in the rain and wind !! Sure hope to get in a few more weekends of riding before snow arrives !! CJM |

CJM... Like I said in a previous post, "Pray for Global Warming." Additionally, be glad Gore did not get elected because he would have fixed it by now and we would looking at another ice age. Hmmm...wonder if he could have sustained the "Bull Market" of the Clinton era. That would have been nice. Anyone have the answer to that? I sure would like to go back into retirement. You will have more than than a few weekends of riding left if you are prepared for the chill. Have a great day! Bill |

There is a black XB9S in the back, does it belong to someone at the shop or in the group? If so, might be good to take a few pics at night in front of the lights. Just a thought. I'll be in class thinking of the meeting and trying to figure out what the instructor is talking about. |

Hi, There's a big fight breaking out over in the General Discussion room. Nice and quiet in here. Think I'll just hang out in the corner and hope nobody throws a chair through the window. Besides I leave for class in a few minutes. $500 huh? Shoot, I could of used that, what with Christmas coming up and all. Whoa, sounded like someone's head hitting the wall over in there, ouch. |

I'm with you Mike. They're coming out of the woodwork in there. I log in to see what's happening and decided to duck in here as well. Last night's meeting was pretty productive. Ken (KOZ5150) came up with several variations for patches for the group and we brainstormed about some more. A lot of good ideas, we'll have more at the next meeting. We talked about rides for next year and planning them in advance, some Sunday day trips and some overnighters to different locations. We also talked about some upcoming rides with KMC. Next Saturday is a Toy Ride for childrens hospital. See Rick for details. FRIDAY the 25th- Meet at Hal's 7:00p.m. Depart Hal's at 7:30p.m. Destination: Stacy's farm in East Troy for Haunted Corn Maze. Bring whoever you want. Later, Jerry |

Hey guys & gals....Here's what I've got for the Haunted Corn Maze: Tickets for the corn maze and haunted hay ride are $9.00/person for each. If we decide to double up and do them both, they'll cut us a deal of $12.00/person. I'll need a head count (I think) in order to get this deal. I can't believe I missed the $500 raffle. Damn, I could have done w/o the sleep for a couple extra hundos in my pocket Oh well, that'll learn me. Mennis |

Oh yeah...The General Discussion group looks more like the Jerry Springer Show everyday. Trust me, if it were not for the intelligence quotient among the Brew Crew, I think I would be outta here in a New York minute. You guys and gal(s) are the best!!! Bill |

Mennis... The good news is Rick gave me your $500 to hold. The bad news is that you get to look at it on my bike!!! I invested wisely for you, eh? |
