my m2 spits oil out of the breather tube i have replaced the o ring and i have replaced the butterfly valve went to aims oil 20/50 full syn its getting to be a real pain in the arse any one have any ideas thanks scott |

What O-ring? What butterfly valve? I can't recall a butterfly valve on my 2000 M2. Where exactly is the oil coming from... the transmission vent line? If that's the case, the crank seal needs to be replaced. It's letting engine oil get into the transmission/primary and the excess is being purged from the vent. |

its leaking oil through the vent near the carb there is a oring in the elbow that dyrs up and should be replaced and in the heads there are little plastic almost look like plastic valvs i belaeve they are called butterfly valvs |

I think you are referring to the umbrella valve. This is the one in the lower rocker box. There is a mod that you can do to make the umbrella valve seal better. All the info is in the KV with many pictures. Still can't figure out what O ring you are referring to. I've torn down many Cyclones, X1's and S3's, never saw an O ring. If you are referring to the head breather bolt elbow, there is no O ring, just thread sealer. The breather bolts hold the carb hold down bracket against the heads. The bracket in turn holds the carb in place via 3 bolts that screw into the front of the carb. Is this the elbow you are talking about? |

well thats what it was the umbrella valve and he said he replaced the o ring in one of the elbows this thing still pisses oul out |
