I had no idea they made so many colors of duck tape. I found this out while at an ace hardware not to far from deals gap they had 16 colors there. They list 18 on line www.duckproducts.com/products/subcategory.asp?CatI D=1&SubID=1 The yellow one just so happens to match my fire bolt perfectly. Kind of got me wondering y motorcycle shops don’t carry this stuff in stock? Most of us will have to tape up are bike at some point in time weather it be for the track or because of a crash y not do it with a tape that matches your bike? I put it on the bike before i put the saddle bags on so they dont scratch the side of the bike. Just a thought what do you think? |

I have automotive class masking tape - it's green. feels and sticks exactly like the painter's tape used for track days. but i use zip ties to fix broken plastic, not tape |

If you MUST be color-coordinated, use the SafeRelease masking tape and then tape over it with colored duct tape |

Dont do this while smoking...." couple years ago i bought a denver broncos hat.. brand new almost all white.. SPOTLESS! i wanted to keep it that way so i sprayed scotch guard all over it, then noticed a thread hanging from the button on top of the hat.. didn't have nail clippers handy so i grabbed my lighter and burnt the thread off. made a really cool whoosh sound and a nice blue flame =] back on topic.. if you're not worried about leaving a residue behind, use gorilla tape. MUCH higher quality than duck tape, but i don't know of what colors it comes in other than gloss black |
