This is a modified 2004 Buell XB12R, with 32,500 miles, registration good until Aug 2009, and a new motor installed at 25,000 ("new motor" means 2 new cylinders (not resleeved, all new cylinders), pistons, rings, crank/flywheel, etc). New motor was installed due to crank bearing disintegrating, and metal flakes messing up motor, and all repairs were done by Glendale HD/Buell in Glendale CA UNDER WARRANTEE, I have receipts to prove this. Bike makes 100-101RWHP without modifying internals like flywheel or pistons. How? Full Micron Serpent Race System (hydroformed headers, and polished aluminum 2-in,2-out can) ($875), open airbox conversion kit ($70), K&N high-flow filter ($59), customized fuel map using DirectLink created specifically for this header/intake combo by Al Lighton and HD/Buell of Vallejo ($350). I've also re-routed the crank-case breathers to a catch-can for breather vapor/oil, and a mini k&n breather filter at the end of the catch can exhaust outlet (combined cost of all parts is $185). The re-route gives you a couple extra ponies, and looks really cool with it's braided stainless and billet aluminum accents. This also ensures that you're not dropping oil on your local race track, and will get you passed tech inspection every time. This bike also has LSL engine-mounted frame sliders ($260), Sato racing axle sliders front & rear ($110 total), a custom dual LED rear tail-light and turn signal assembly ($309), Zero G Double Bubble in dark smoke (forgot what that costs) carbon fiber headlight bezels ($120), and it sounds like 25% of a nascar engine when you get on it, but at idle will be overlooked by every single cop. Never been stopped on this bike. Needs new tank plastic, it was scratched up, so I bead blasted it, and didn't do a very good job, but other than that the bike runs very, very strong (fastest Buell you'll see on the street I guarantee that). There are some nicks and scratches as you'd expect for a bike with 30,000 miles, but it's still quite nice, in very good shape, mechanicals have been meticulously maintained, but it's a daily ride, not a shop queen so know this. Needs to have fuse terminals cleaned, I think weather/moisture is causing charge system to not work at 100%, but this is the only problem the bike has. Still runs fine, but needs to go on the trickle charger once every 6 months or so. Selling because I hurt my back and the commute is killing me. Going to get Kawi Concours 1400 and want a down payment so this must sell, plus I don't really have the room for 2 bikes. This bike is a joy to ride (although everyone here knows this already), easily the best handling bike I've ever ridden, and very reliable outside of the bearing prob we fixed 7,000 miles ago. $5500, 818-224-4201 or aaron@musicboxmx.com for additional photos or more info. I forgot to put a couple things in the subject line so I apologize, can't figure out how to edit this post either. It's a 2004, mechanical condition is 9 (new motor, meaty Dunlop Qualifiers, ridden daily), but aesthetic "show pony" factor is like a 7 and she really needs a new gas tank plastic. Fuse Box covers are missing too (someone tried to steal the bike I guess and all they did was break off the fuse box covers). That said, other Buellers are dazzled by this bike in it's current state, all the time especially if they're running a stock set up. So what, she looks like someone's enjoyed her, because I have... I look at the pluses and minuses, and all the extra work that's been done to it as a wash, and I'm asking a reasonable price for a reasonable bike. PS, here's a picture of the bike:
