I actually saw, more like inspected a red CR at the dealer today while I tried to by my very own 1125r during a Hurricane. Did you know you cant get insurance right before a hurricane? Anyway the red CR was beautiful and you can see some of the 09 improvements. The one change that got my attention was the placement of the exhaust O2 sensors. I don't think they just moved the location but re engineered the whole thing. They look much better. The sensors are located in the middle of the last bend after the pipes go from 2-1 before it go into the collector both front and rear. The front caliper is beautiful and the exhaust appear a little better in both fit and finish. Thanks for the thread on VIN #s I bought serial# 3929. I would have just went in and took the one they gave me. Instead I went back to the stock room and dug through every1125 they had all 12 of them. (must be having a hard time selling 08s) | ||

I'm starting to get jealous about all these CRs showing up in dealerships. I'm getting the first one my dealer gets and it's scheduled to ship today, which means I have a week before it I can take it home... Congrats on the new ride! | ||

My local dealer said they were cancelling their order for the CR. I asked why and got the reply of "we need to sell the 1125r's that we have first" My reply "You will never sell one without haveing it here, get ONE." Dissapointed. Used to be such a good place too. | ||

That's the word I got. But it had not been cancelled yet, just said he was going to cancel it. Interesting, huh? The CR, in my eyes, is not a bike that will sell without people being able to have one physically there to see and sit on. | ||

In person, I can't imagine anyone looking to purchase a Speed Triple, Monster, or Tuono etc. would leave the showroom without one! The one I sat on was red... still waiting for the 09 1125r though. | ||

The local dealer just got a CR, and to me it looks much better in person than in photos. A Bat-Bike. The dealer also has 14 1125rs in stock going for $9995 with an additional $1K bonus in accessories. |
