Can't wait to see it as you prep it. Also looking forward to hearing what your officer's who are coming in to demo think. I'll direct our officer to this thread to watch as well. |

Hey Brian, can you check and see if there's anything different about the rear wheel bearings? If the factory released a new part last month like they were supposed to, seems like it'd be showing up on the current bikes. |

We ordered ours in Stealth Black, our lead agency is going to use it for Keg Party Busting, A white bike kind of defeats the purpose of hiding in the dark. On the bearings.. . I have no real way to check that other than to see if there is a new part number in the manual. |

Brian, the bearings used up to now were NTN 6006 (a standard industrial bearing); this would be printed on the outside edge of the bearing. You might just look and see if there's a new designation or if the seal color changed. |

"We ordered ours in Stealth Black" so you picked the fastest color then? GOOD CHOICE!!! |

Ok here is the update. The hoops between the two bikes are the same dimensions 13.5 X 8.75 with a diagonal of 15.25 inches. HOWEVER the locking mechanism clasp hoop is on the rear of the bike for the Journey bags, it is on the front for the standard ULY & XT bags. IE they are not interchangeable, unless you want to get a torch and start modifying stuff. I will try and swap bags and flip them this afternoon to see if that works. UPdate as that happens. The tail bag comes with the lights, horn, and hand guard kit, so no tail bag to civilians unless you have a way to purchase cop equipment through your jurisdiction. Pics as the lights go on pending. |

OK heres the update, It fits if you swap sides. it will dork up and bend your blinker, you will have to live with that or shorten your blinker stalks. Heres the pics.

it will dork up and bend your blinker, you will have to live with that or shorten your blinker stalks I think a small L bracket to make the blinker vertical would do the trick. Or even a 45 degree looks like it would clear the bag. |

The XT/ULY bags are a lil more symmetrical, you will however have your emblem on the 'wrong' side Pic tomorrow if you REALLY need it |
