Could be as simple as a loose mainshaft nut? It'd be nice to see an XBr engine build up. I have the best Snap-On ring pliers and compressor, and a few other tools if i can help you. |

Noise seems to be coming from the middle to upper part of the motor...... I rode it sunday a few hours in hopes to find out what it was. But it never went BOOOM! When it does that, I will know exactly what the problem is..

Eric, has oil consumption gone up? Or just noise? Could be a cracked ring, collapsed skirt, wrist pin clip, etc.... I know you probably know this, but... Chase |

No oil consumption, Already checked the Main shaft nut, pulleys, chain. Power level has been slipping little by little, I can feel it the more I ride. I'd like to do a compression test on it and oil pressure test. Then go from there. It does seem to get quieter after the 5k mark....OR I just can't hear it by then |

I have a sawzall and a sledgehammer for when you're ready to subscribe to the NEBO upgrade plan. "I dunno Mr. Insurance Agent, I just stepped out for a second and when I came back somebody done cut my bike in two. How much do I get?" |

What if you "accidentally" rode it in the figure 8 races in Brockton? Just ghost ride it every time you come to the crossing & you'll be alright. Or just park it in Brockton and wait... Some happy crackhead will take it off your hands. |

Hey Eric, Do you still have that front rotor I gave you a while ago? |

I warped it from to much heat from the stock set up. Same with my original one. They were warped so I tossed them when I put the Bigger caliper on last year. started with a fresh rotor. Your wavy one crap out? |

What I actually need is a front rim with all the fixin's. Bought me a set of Corsa Dragons and want to put them on a spare set of tires for track days. I already have a rear setup, now I need a front. Was figuring that I could probably get a front rim cheaper without a rotor on it. Hammer, you need the tensioner pulley or the pulley on the tranny? Knowin you, you're probably are looking for the "Pulley on the tranny," |

I hope he did not give up the Gixer, Buells are only good for so long. It is a V-Twin. One should ALWAYS have a back up bike... |

Hey Shawn, Thanks for letting me hook up to your laptop last night. I'm psyched that I can tune my ecm. Can't wait to see compare bikes in the daylight. Let me know when we can ride. I have the kids this weekend, but I'm free the following two. I checked the eprom on the xopti site and the 2007 race doesn't match mine. Is there a way to load it into ecmspay and copy the maps? More research to do. I'll be in touch. |
