Who's going? I recently spoke to the folks running it, and they said they had slots open in ALL three levels. So if you were only thinking about it, SIGN UP!!! Also, American Sport Bike is hosting a dinner in Vegas that Saturday Night. See our home page. A formal RSVP is not required, but we would really like to hear from you if you're planning on attending. See ya there! Al |

Holy balls would it be cool to have a BW get-together in Vegas. The Inside Pass would just be the icing on the cake. A cake with a stripper in it of course. |

Not much time to make a decision on this, the Inside Pass day is THURSDAY, OCTOBER 2nd. That is exactly 4 weeks from today. So sign up, get a hotel room in DOWNTOWN Vegas (not the strip), and get your butt to Vegas for a great weekend. IT is a motorcycle weekend in Vegas. It's Vega BikeFest, a large motorcycle event (mostly Harley riders) and it is also FemMoto weekend. There is a coed track day there on Friday as well, as well as demos from ALL brands at the track all weekend. After the Thursday track day, some of us are going to drive a couple hours away to Zion National Park in Utah on Friday, back to Vegas before dark. I've only been through Zion once, and knew I wanted to ride there again some day, it's a beautiful place. Saturday will be a more local ride out by Lake Mead, followed by the American Sport Bike dinner event, and then partying into the night on Fremont street. Get a room. Sign up for the track day. Don't delay. PS: And please let us know if you're coming to the American Sport Bike dinner. We're not doing Formal RSVPs, but it really helps with the planning. |

I will be there Al. Signed up for the novice level. We are taking the RV so we are thinking of staying at our normal place at Oasis RV park. Anyone still planning staying at Circus Circus RV parking? Will there be a place to park the RV where my wife can see the track or? |

Dan and I will be there. We're signed up in the intermediate class. We're also signed up to do the Femmoto track day on Fri. My son will be with us to do the novice day on Fri, I want him to learn as much as possible before letting him loose on his new bike experience. Same question on the RV parking. We will be trailering our bikes behind the RV and was hoping to stay at the track. Let us know. |

I know at the last SCAB meeting they mentioned circus circus RV Park. It is managed by KOA. Not sure if this is still the plan. I would hope there is a place when get to the track to park the RV so it is in view of the track. We have a observation deck on the RV so it would be nice if this was the case. Here are the details for the RV park. RV Park RV guests, you've found your oasis in the desert! Our RV Park is the only RV Park on the Las Vegas Strip, and is operated by the popular Kampgrounds of America (KOA). We offer plenty of room to roam: 399 spaces come complete with full-service utility hook-ups, a convenience store, arcade, laundromat, playground, pet runs, and disposal stations. All amenities include: Swimming pool Jacuzzi Full-service hook-ups Laundry facilities Showers and restrooms Convenience store Pet runs Dump stations 399 spaces 24-hour registration Video game arcade For reservations, please call 800-562-7270 or visit the KOA online reservation page by clicking the link below. |

There is parking at the track for the RVs. I checked it out a couple weeks ago, my house is only 10 mins from the track. I'm in the novice group as this is only my second track day. This is gonna be fun!! |

SOme updates, I'll get something up on our website. Final details are still being worked out, but the plan at this time is that we'll cover dinner at the Golden Nugget Buffet downtown. It'll be on the early side(4-5ish) because later they won't have space for a group our size. I still don't have a good feel for what "our size" is, so it would be really cool for anyone that is planning on going at this time to send an email to sales at americansportbike dot com and say that you're planning on attending. That way, I can send you an email with any updates that occur. I would highly encourage anyone booking a hotel to do so downtown near fremont street. You don't need to, but if you do, it'll be a lot easier after dinner to park the bike/car and walk around. We're staying at the Golden Nugget. Ain't cheap, but if you look around hard enough, you can get some deals. Al |

Got a question. Does anyone know if there will be leathers to rent for the track? It's not worth buying a set of leathers for my son for only 1-2 days on the track. Let me know, thanks |

Last time, Vanson was one of the sponsors and the leathers were free IF they fit. Had a pretty good selection. You might shoot Bonnie or Monte at Sportbike Track Time the question just to double check. I don't think they require leathers for the novice group - just good boots, gloves, full face helmet. Aerostitch or equivalent is OK - so he's likely already got all the normal riding safety gear anyways. |

Thank you, that helps a lot. I also did send an email to Bonnie. |

We're still trying to get some type of head count to tell the dinner folks, and I've not received ANY emails. I compiled a list of names that I knew were going to the track day, but it sure would help us if you sent us an email if you are planning on attending. The folks that have chimed in on this thread I've accounted for. It's the lurkers I'd really like to hear from. thanks, Al |

I'll definitely be there for all the festivities and rides. Can't get much better than partying in Las Vegas can we! I am staying on the strip at Imperial Palace (couldn't beat the deal I got) but it will be no big deal to grab a cab or bus downtown for the camaraderie. Besides, I really don't want to hang out with all those biker types, I hear they are very opinionated and obnoxious anyways. |

Ok, I have a dumb question. Does one have to own a Buell to participate in the track day? Cause, if not, I'd like to sign my son up for the novice group. Also are there any restrictions. He's only been riding for a short time ie less than 1000 miles so far. Would he be able to demo any of the Buells and/or can he take his own bike on the track? thanks guys, Julie |

Some updates: There are STILL openings in all three levels as of the 12th, so you can still sign up for the Vegas track day. I've just updated the A.S.B event pages, here and here I'll be adding updates as they get figured out. If you're going to the American Sport Bike events, I'd suggest waiting until just before you leave for Vegas and print the pages and the maps from there out. We'll probably continue to fine tune the Googlemaps, so don't print them now. I'm really looking forward to Friday as well. That area of Utah is very cool. If you're readying your bike for the track but can bring the stuff to make it street ready for Friday, you should!! Al |

Just checked out the detailed schedule for the American Sport Bike event. Sounds like some good plans! I am shooting to make as much of the Saturday rides as I can. It's gonna be fun! There is a fee to get into the Red Rock loop area, but it is less than $5 bucks. |
