Greetings! I just purchased an '07 Ulysses with about 6K on the meter. It's pretty much box stock. I have been researching a few things, but I'm still looking for a few clear answers. I bought a service manual, that helps a lot, here's my questions: Does the TPS need resetting? How would I be able to tell? Does the ECM need a 're-flash', and how would I be able to tell if it has the latest ones and zeros programmed onto it? Can I get an ECMSPY and do all this ECM re-flash myself? Thanks for looking. Congrats on the "new" Uly. Next scheduled TPS reset is 10,000 miles. If it runs lousy or coughs when you try to accelerate, that can be an indication you're due for a reset. No ECM re-flashes required for 07 models; they were "right" from the factory. Yes, you can download ECMspy for free and build or buy a cable. You can do TPS resets and a whole lot of other stuff with it. |
