not sure what your talking about....... but check this thread out. (actually my first ever post on BadWeB!) http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/327 77/294076.html?1184981230 it did come with 5 different sized rods (or spuds as I think you are calling them) for the bottom of the steering head. That was a while back and im still VERY HAPPY with them!!! -Robert www.xblights.com |

Mine didn't come with the correct one. I had to contact them and get it after the fact. I believe it is an 18mm. |

Thanks guys I just ordered the front to go with the rear one I bought last winter. Got a new set of tires coming in a week and can get them mounted cheap IF it take the wheels to them. Then over winter I'll do the fork oil change. |

I just used the front stand today to replace my front tire (loving the new Battlaxe BT014 by the way). When I ordered it, they asked what kind of bike I had and sent the correct pin. I was a little bummed reading older posts that they don't send 5 pins with the stand, but new pins are only $8. |

I'm just curious, and I'm not trying to start anything; where are the T-Rex stands made? |

From their web site; We manufacture motorcycle stands, chocks, spools, sliders and other motorcycle accessories. Our goal is to maintain high quality products at a competitive price. Buy factory direct and save. No middlemen. |

"I'm just curious, and I'm not trying to start anything; where are the T-Rex stands made?" The stands are made in Taiwan. At least they were as of 7/31/2008. |

GTO; the link you put up does not mention where the T-Rex factory is. It says, "We design and manufacture our products. All of our stands and chocks are formed, welded and painted by hands. All our products are carefully scrutinized by our staff before leaving the factory." Nowhere on their site did I see any mention that the stands are made in the USA. They are, quite probably, good quality stands; as several people on this site like them. I asked my original question because I was curious how they could undercut Pit Bull by close to 50%. There is no need to insinuate that any one is lying. |

4cammer, I think their statement I quoted yesterday is misleading. It does lead you to believe all of their products are made in Texas. edit; I did email them yesterday about their stands. They responded that they are made in Taiwan. (Message edited by xbrfirebolt on September 11, 2008) |
