Mennis, It makes a better story if it remains a mystery. Riding solo if I go, might loan the second bike though to a second rider. |

I will say that the Platypus rode with me to Seattle last year. Didn't have it with me when I got rear-ended, not sure if it's related or not. I'm thinking I'll go strap him on tonight when I get home "just in case". |

Bomber, Mike J, et al... Thanks for the clarification. Think I will just ride in the rocking chair and enjoy the day. The Leland info came from out-of-State websites that most likely are headed directly there due to the distance. The pavement route markings and other commentary came from a MC sales manager that does the run twice a year. Oh well, like every other Yellow Journalist, I shall protect my sources and hold my head high...all the way to prison. LOL Looking forward to finally meeting you guys/gals this weekend. Have enjoyed reading your postings. I feel like I know you already and am confident we will have many fun times together. Have a great day!!! Bill |

Being from S. Arkansas, I see nothing wrong with giving directions by looking for the cow, we do it all the time !!! Sometimes, there ain't no road signs, and the best you can do is look for the cow !! ha ha CJM |

of course, I COULD have told him to turn west right after the tree that was chopped down last year . . .. . . or, watch out for the speed trap by the house with the ugly lamp in the window |

Yep, just enjoy the day, that's what it's all about, and that sums it up nicely, enjoy the day. Probably see you there or in between. And there may actually be pavement markings, but I've usually followed the locals out there and they have their own routes. One time I went, I thought I was following along behind them, when all of a sudden here they came in the opposite direction, so I pulled a u-turn and just kept following them. (I figure they must have wandered off around a hill or canyon and looped around on me, oh well, it's all fun.) It is a fun day though, so all who can make it should. |

Still looks like rain in Madison, and I don't want to get caught in rain too far from home. So I'm going to skip the Crud run, may do the ride at Hal's also, or sleep in !! I'll pray for Global Warming for ya Bill ! See ya Tuesday. CJM |

Chris, If you are referring to "Two Wheel Tuesday," I was there last week in the rain. We had around 8 bikes and four carloads. Remember the store is closed, so bring your own refreshments. Will try again this week unless there is a new "interim" location. Please advise. Bill |

Chris, Must have just missed your group at Hal's by a few minutes this morning. I did entire Holy Hill route four times looking for y'all before heading for the Eagle area. Discovered a lot of fun roads down there. You are indeed correct, was a beautiful day for a ride. Bill |
