Ok I bought a tank bag with the buell money for the promo, the # 92330-06YA. When it came in it was missing the front catch straps. No problem on the service parts sheet the straps are part # 92169-05Y. My dealer ordered them, I got them home to install the bag and they do not snap to the bag. Has anyone had the same problem, if so do you know any different part #? Go figure the female catch is to big for the male snap. Scott |

Well didn't have that but they put the wrong screws in the bag marked metric. It contained more of the screws listed for the XB's. Of course, I didn't notice until I stripped one of the front mounts in the frame. I was able to have the threads cleaned up and went to Home Depot for the right parts. |

Ordered my tank bag and Kick Ash windscreen back in July. Tank bag came in after about two weeks, went to install it and it was missing the 4 SS metric screws and it was also missing two of the plastic backing clips/lock plates that hold the zippered pouch to the outside of the bag. Return it and another two weeks went by, got the new bag, went to install it and in the little plastic parts bag labeled "Metric" was four 1/4-20 button head screws. Parts manager looked up the metric screw number and actually had some in stock! Hopefully, sometime soon the windsreen will show up!!! |

I thought about getting the tank bag but realized it wouldn't hold enough for my 7 day Minnesota/California/Minnesota road trip. So I pulled my bug out bag from the closet and attached it to the tank. The pic shows it better than I could explain it. Basically put the waist strap under the forks and clipped it in front of the ignition. The carabeeners were key chains that I attached to the air box screws under the seat. This allowed for a whole lot more gear with out the the need for saddle bags or a tail bag. And it didn't move around at all. I used pink carabeeners cause I know I wouldn't leave them on when I didn't have the bag on.
