Slowride, pack a sweatshirt for morning rides, and good gloves. . It gets a bit nippy early on. I'll be there Wednesday by late afternoon, set up camp and ride for a bit, will have plenty of cold ones on hand. Been saving my tires for this one. Anyone else plan on coming up Wednesday? Paint_shaker...Looking forward to seeing you on the Friday. I'm hoping Steve and Jim can make it as well. |

Twig - I don't think anyone from C3 is coming down before Thursday. If you don't mind, we may park the 50 by your tent. I think there's gonna be another attempt for a 50 race. |

Kristi, fine by me. Since I'll be staying a few days, the canopy will be up. Gonna cost you though. One or two short rides on the 50 for old times sake? |

Hello, I'm a new Bueller and ran across this thread. I live in Huntsville, AL and would like to attend this event. Is it open to all? If so, is there a link to the specifics and what not? Thanks. Eric |

Eric - welcome to BadWeB! This "event" is open to all and this is the link to the specifics! This is a non-sponsored event. It's just a bunch of Buell riders gathering in the north GA mountains for a weekend of riding. There is a roll call up top, if you've not signed up there, please do so. It's only for a head count, nothing more. Several of us have cabins rented in the area and lots will be camping at T.W.O. A few helpful links: http://www.suchescabinrentals.com/ http://www.twowheelsonly.com/ There are some other events going on that weekend, such as KTM has demo rides based out of T.W.O. and there is some other motorcycle event in a neighboring town. We'd love to have you. If you see someone with a Buell shirt on, come over and introduce yourself. You'll find a very welcoming BadWeB crowd. |

Hey Eric, I'm planning on riding over for one or maybe two days. I am about half way between Huntsville and Suches. If you want a riding partner I would be glad to meet you somewhere convenient for you. Just let me know. |

AAAAHHHH, YYEEAAHH!!! Man, I'm ready! Just got back yesterday from a ride out to Dale Hollow Dam from Maryville. The ride out was great- ran through Rugby TN and lots of twisties- but the ride back was even better!! For those who can get there, look up TN Hwy 85 (from 52 between Livingston and Jamestown). It runs through a place called Twinton TN. This was easily the twistiest, most fun road I've been on since my first run to Suches!! Just keep in mind that out there it's the SERIOUS boonies- I told my GF that if I'd made a mistake up there, nobody'd find me until the GIANT turkey buzzards showed up for the buffet. She didn't like that. Great roads, good time, now I feel like I'm sharpening up to catch up with all y'all at TWO!! |

A few questions and a request.... In March when I showed up to this thing for the first time I was very cautious, mainly because I didn't know anyone and I didn't know if my riding style would gel with the others here. Well that got all straighted out real quick. Between, (paintshaker, gentleman jon, smoke) and that half a dozen other riders out there... me ripping it up on a uly was no issues, but the one thing I didn't see with the sole exception of Paintshaker was anyone leading rides to see the country side. Paintshaker took a group to Deals Gap and we had a great time although two bikes went down in the process. So to the questions... besides the small loop that I went on that included Gixer corner, was there other ride loops going on. Will there be ride groups going out for farther rides then just the small loops around TWO? I have the Uly in Touring mode and will be riding the 1k mile ride out to Suches from Dallas. During preparation, I have been reading my RIDER mags and discovered a Clover Leaf style set of loops that extend out from TWO. Each loop round trip is not over 200 miles. Matter of fact I think one of them is barely 100 miles total. I was thinking of leading 3 rides, 1 on each day from Friday to Sunday. I will chose a different loops each day. I was just curious if anyone would be interested in a dedicated route that would enable us to see the countryside, but be back in time to go into Hooligan mode and blast the twisties when we get back. Also, I would very much like to be informed of local loops from the the groups that have frequented this area for the last 5-6 years. I don't mind following, but I would like to see the beauty before I shred it, if you know what I am getting at. Since there's no organization to speak of, rides will be up to those that want to organize. There will be group rides I'm sure, but just about everything is planned last minute, if at all. I don't like to plan anything, that part of the fun, for me anyhow. I will put up a section at the top (like the "Roll Call") for group rides, so those that want to can. |

This will be my first time visiting the area. I like the idea of seeing the area at a sane pace and not pushing it. Slowride - I'm arriving on Thursday and would be very interested in at least one of your Friday loops. I'll shoot you a PM with my contact info. |

Hello everyone I was thinking about making the ride down but I might be cutting it close on tire life. Is there a nearby bike shop around Suches? Thanks Ken |
