I've noticed now that I have over a 1000 miles and a new oil change my bike is quicker than ever. Today on a nice open road, I did my usual spirited 1st to 2nd gear change and boy did that front come up nice a high. Gas mileage has improved too, Thanks Erik for discovering the fountain of youth |

Wait till you hit 10k, then 20k, then 30k. I sold my firebolt engine with 35k on the odo and it is still going strong in a friends bike!! |

Wait till you hit 10k, then 20k, then 30k. Even 60K and they still rip! |

23,000 and gets better with every passing 1,000 miles. Biggest noticeable difference was around 6 to 7 thousand. |

My motor started out tight. High fuel consumption, lots of fan, variable power delivery. The dealer warned me about it. By about 2,000 km it settled in nicely. I've done 25,000 km in 15 months and the bike is just sweet. |

I totally agree, just passed 17k on my 05 and it’s stronger than ever and shifts better than ever to. I love these motors! |

I'm just a few ticks over 6,000...but I also switched to Amsoil at 6k. Smooth as butter. |

Biggest noticeable difference was around 6 to 7 thousand. Same here - that was the beginning of this season for me, and the bike ran much better and quicker than I recalled from last season. |
