I'll be at the first gas station on the left on Mineral Point Rd. I also believe it may be the County Road S exit. I'm a little fuzzy but I think there's an Amoco station there (like I said, that's fuzzy). If you don't see me there, go on ahead to Pine Bluff & I'll meet up with you there. |

Hey guys, I am planning on going on the ride, but as of right now I don't have a working speedometer. Which means I don't have a gas guage. Bummer eh? See you Sunday... |

I had a little time on my hands this morning. I was playing with making a Brew City logo. Click on my user ID to view it. Let me know what you think. |

Koz...Bring a copy to the next meeting. There are a few other designs out there. We should present them to the group and have a vote. See ya Sunday? I had a speedo sensor go out. I just filled up each time. When I hit reserve, I looked for the nearest gas station. You should be able to go 40+ miles on reserve. |

Mike S. & CJM... Understand it is in Leland. Will get specific directions tomorrow. This will be my first Slimy Crud and the following is the info I got tonight at Two Wheel Tuesday: Concerning the event, it is a gathering of bikes from vintage classics to the ultra modern and entails a set your own pace ride through some of the best roads and scenery Wisconsin has to offer. Rather than a route map, the turns are painted on the road approximately 1/8th mile before the turn. The route will have been swept free of road hazards including gravel. There is an official half way stop along the route for whatever floats your boat. CAUTION: Expect the "Revenuers" to be out in force on the way to and from the run. However, I was told that the run itself is clear sailing. I am looking forward to meeting all the Buell gang as well as the other groups that will be there. FYI, I entered "slimy crud run" into my browser and was amazed at the number of clubs that have it on their calendar. Will meet you at the park'n'ride at 8:30 AM. Kindly advise of departure time. Crud Run ends at leland . . . . . starts in Pine Bluff (County S, about 4 miles (?) west of Rt 12 as far as markings and sweepings, this time of year, both could become past tense really quickly (esp sweepings) . . . .damp leaves in apexs are a rush, yes? lots of differing routes available . . . .get lost! |

Roger....I'm heading through Janesville also. I should have a few friends in tow. I'm planning on being there around 9:00am. How is your friend getting from Kenosha to Janesville? Is he coming through Lake Geneva? Back to the Janesville thing....There's a Harley dealer on the west side of I-90. Exit on Hwy 14 and turn right at the Ford dealer. If that time is good, we'll look for you there. Mennis |

Think of the CrudRun not so much as a "run", and more so as a double-gathering, a cluster of riders, an assemblage of makes and marques, a menagerie of motorcycles and whatnot. Gather in Pine Bluff, then regather in Leyland. And if you get to Leyland late the bar will run out of sandwiches, another part of the "tradition". I've been to a couple of them so far, and have yet to see an "official" route, let alone markings on the road. Might just be because of the group I tagged along with. But I do remember a couple of two-wheel sideways drifts in corner gravel t-intersections, and various places where intermittant creeks washed debris onto the roadway. I also recall several areas where farm implements and kids on bicycles were on the roadways. Fastest way to end a tradition is to upset the locals, so ride within your means and abilities. MikeJ (Wondering if I should bring the CrudRun Platypus along.) |

MikeJ...Okay what's up with the CrudRun Platypus? I just have to know!!!!!! BTW...does this mean you're going? Are ya bringing the Mrs? Roger...I'll try to reach Dyna. I'd think he'd come through Lake Geneva to get to Janesville. Otherwise it'd be easier for him to meet ya in Mad-town. As for the cow....you'd know it when ya saw it Mennis |
