I went by Danbury Buell today to check out the demo day snapped some pics of 09's thought id share. The CR looks much better in person but ridding position seems same as my R if not worse. Wish the tall bars were stock instead. Here be the pics      One of the New o2 sensor location  | ||

I'm sorry, but that red 1125R is FAWKIN HOTT!!! Love it! Is the clutch cover in the last pic the "Rev B" model, or is that different altogether for the 2009? Looks to be much less likely to sustain damage than the one on my bike, and where is the weep hole? | ||

Red is basically the pirelli bike. Shame the winner never showed on here with pics of it. The Black CR is nice. I agree with Bueller bjorn about the bars. 09's haven't made it to my closest dealer. Wonder if they even will, they're still sitting on 07's. | ||

I saw the CR at my dealer yesterday. The black frame and wheels with the red accents was sweet, but I gagged when I saw the fairing. | ||

Funny you should say that... I was looking at it and thinking how I really like the squat stubby look of the CR, but hate the red highlights and the mirrors. Not sure the loss of wind protection compared to the R would be worth the cosmetic difference though. Not to mention I'd probably spend more than the price difference just getting rid of the red highlights and getting the mirrors and indicators to look how I wanted. I wonder when we'll see these down under. I'd prefer an '09 model, or perhaps a heavily discounted '08... | ||

One thing I do have to say about that event was it was funny watching these big fat HD riders in their leather chaps and vest throw a leg over the 1125r and then stalling it 3 times before pulling out. I felt bad for those bikes but i guess that's what demos are for. | ||

Unfortunately I didn't get to ride one, just sat on one. I could have waited around for 45mins to ride one but I had somewhere to go and I also felt I should let a potential buyer ride one before me who already owns one of these wonderful machines.  | ||

My dealer's first one is supposed to ship on Sept 12. That's already moved up once, so might be earlier still. | ||

I really like the looks of the red R. The headlights on the CR reminds me of the B-King, which to me is not a positive comment. | ||

The red R needs the red caliper of the CR. A blue caliper would be nice for the white R. |
