I'll pick up the maps from Bomber (seeing as though we're practically neighbors) and have them ready for the weekend. Somebody yell out a start time/place and I'll be ready. (John, what is a good time to be there by?) |

CJM, (Hey to yellowstreak too.) Just a quick word. Have no computer on weekends. I used to ride a 750 SECA for about 5 1/2 years. I bought my M2L this January. Yes, I admit, I am a little afraid of the bike still, but I took it slow to start. The only problem with it as far as handling is picking it up off the ground. LOL!!! (I am a 120 lb monster). I got the M2 exactly because it was 1203CC and on top of that it is a very light bike for the horsepower. I don't get blown around by trucks anymore. I might keep working on your handling on the smaller bike, but you can 'step up' to the larger ones pretty well with time (unless you are 5 foot and ride, like a friend of mine). It is easy to get carried away and do over 100 mph. Some Harley guys cut in front of me on the highway outside of Green Bay and then my ego got the best of me. I wouldn't recommend it, but every once in a while I can't control myself. I live by Rhinelander in Pelican Lake. Come to Slimey Crud Run if you can, as I will be in Madison for the weekend this week. (By the way, I have ridden a Gold Wing and I am only 5'4'' it just takes patience, balance and timing). Good Luck, Charlotte |

Hey Whatever, I may be at the Slimey Crud run, 2002 Black Buell Blast with windshield, if I make it I'll look you up. I'll be looking for a while before I do anything, and cost will for sure be a factor. Sounds like your doing good with that bike, I may take a look, since I love looking at bikes anyway. And I hope you blew right past the the Harley guys, and yeah sometimes the ego kicks in but I'm new enough I keep it in check, for now !! CJM |

Don, that county sheriff that followed you on your whole ride last week... was it a woman with brown hair in a pony tail? I know she's been hanging out in the Grove a lot lately, and just followed me from about 11th on Main and onto 11 on my way to work and turned off as she started getting out of the Grove. She was just sitting there until I turned onto Main and then pulled in behind me. That's a great way to make me late for work. Of course I could just leave earlier, but that would involve getting up earlier... |
