[RANT]No global warming, much like the internet was invented by Al Gore. Man/bear/pig will let us know the true calling of global warming!![\RANT] On a serious note, who woulda thought that big glowing orb in the sky would cause climate change such as ooooo lets say global warming... |

I watched a special on the last mini Ice Age. During that time Volcanoes raised the level of Carbon Dioxide to five times the present level. There is no disputing that Carbon Dioxide is an insulator that will cause warming. The problem with the present politically correct theory of Global Warming is that it puts to much emphasis on one natural phenomenon and ignores everything else. NASA has jumped in the argument on the side that Solar activity plays much more a roll on Earth's climate than Global Warming theorists want to admit. The theory is politically driven and ignores the fact that most of the recorded history is from the middle of the mini-Ice Age to present day. So of course we are warmer than any time in known history. The one fact that few Global Warming Theorist are willing to state is the fact that the warmest year on record was three years ago. This corresponds with the height of the recent Solar activity. Does Carbon Dioxide levels play a roll in our climate, absolutely! But the higher levels of Carbon Dioxide may be a plus, not a minus if we are moving toward a Solar minimum condition. |

So........ a P-38 crashed on a glacier in the 40's.(Glacier Girl) It was dug out in the 90's. It was buried under 268 feet of new ice. If global warming is so, then the the rest of that priceless squadron should be laying out in the open for easy pickings by now. (Message edited by just_ziptab on September 01, 2008) |

I may be a biased nutjob, but pray for Global Warming. The alternative really bites. |

I don't know what is happening, wether man made, or natural, but something is different. Strange weather the world over, less ice on the caps. Here we have had an unusual summer (very cool). Time to buy that missile silo I want. |

But I know what's really going on, Stuart. I know it's the queers. They're in it with the aliens. They're building landing strips for gay Martians. I swear to God. You know what Stuart, I like you. You're not like the other people, here in the trailer park. ...the Dead Milkmen have been telling us what's going on all along. |

I don't know what is happening, wether man made, or natural, but something is different. I agree, I have not seen an actual Winter here since the mid 80'. Oh well, whatever the reason Nature is not answerable to us, so no use in fretting, if we're screwed.......... |

Can iced fish swim? I think only Florida is globally warmed. Always hot. It snowed once in central Florida. Snow never even hit the ground. |

The last decent snow we had was in Feb. '98. Weatherman called for a light dusting so I drove the Z28 to work only to come out at 2a.m. with seven inches of "dust" on the ground. What pseudo-phenomonon will the illustrious Al Gore come up with next? |
