Ok..i can get hold of an aluminium swingarm from an x1 complete with "chassis block" its all still connected together..will this unit fit directly onto the s1 frame with minimal effort?? am i better off separating the new swingarm from the block and hooking it up with the old one..? apparently the new block may need grinding to allow fitment..are the belt tensioners interchangeable on the swingarm(deep breath)is there a written fact sheet on how to carry out a swingarm swap ...cheers guys. |

Im still waiting to do the swap on my m2, but i think you would want the newer mounting block. I believe if you have that you dont have to do any grinding. Our bikes dont really have belt tensioners, other than an adjustable rear axle. |

The tensioners are completely different for the newer swingarm. |

I did mine and the new block slid in without grinding. I reused the older axle at first with a few washers, as it is longer. You need to get all new adjustment blocks and hardware. Do the bearings while you're in there. |
