Because i sold my X1 after my baby girl was born and could not stand reading all the fun you guys were having riding and doing all the motorcycling stuff. So i told myself i would be back after i could get another Buell. Well i find myself in a position to do just that and should be picking it up in a couple of days. Here is a picture of my next and first brand new Buell.

Doon i know what you are talking about my weekends are for me and my daughter. It will mostly be for riding to work thank God i have a 20 mile one way trip. I'm sure my wife will give me a break a few weekends a year and let me go for a ride. So i'll be ready. |

at least you didn't wait about 13 years to get back into riding and i also applaud you for making the initial sacrifice for your family and really glad that your able to come back into the fold. hope the family is still doing fine. |

NICE! I went almost 5 years after my girl was born, pissed off every day for 5 years about not riding. When I came back I went from Japanese to Buell to get something a bit more sane in the power department, with good handling, and some character. It was a wise choice. I found myself riding more conservatively since I had kids, I wonder if the same will happen to you. |

Congrats. I have an 19 month old daughter (first one) and it has cut into my riding time. I don't mind though. As far as riding more conservatively, I gave up track days. On the other hand I just bought a dual purpose so that I could extend my riding season and do some off-road stuff. And as far as year round riding, up north here (northen WI) the lakes turn into race tracks and there are bikes everywhere. |

By the way, the bike you just bought is THE best looking bike (colors sceme included) that Buell produces today. goodluck, and have fun. |

heck paw we should introduce our wives and our daughters. They (daughters) about the same age. This way we can do the play date, and the daddy's can go on our own playdate. You know twisties and such |
