Happy Birthday Court! Glad to see you're still around! Congrats on the gift...I need to point my wife over to this page... I gave my wife her second motorcycle for her birthday a couple years ago. She has yet to return the favor... |

Happy Birthday Court! Now get that thing over here to Northern Italy and we'll go riding with Max and the rest of the guys/gals in the Tribu! Maybe we could slip away and spend some time in the Alp and Dolomites like I did this past weekend; the Uly's favorite terrain! |

Here's wishing you a belated Happy "Birthday Weekend" Court! In case you've not yet heard, the "Birthday Weekend" is a new concept invented as far as I know just this past July by Michele, my lovely wife. The proclamation of her "Birthday Weekend" was soon followed by her inspired announcements of her own "Birthday Week" and later her "Birthday Month". This may have taken hold partly in response to a decade of BadWeB. |

Happy B-Day Court, XB9er and myself have nice mountain roads around here and I know that you've been thru here. Now quoting you from original Res Ride Thread, May 27, 2007 That is a gorgeous area and the last time I came through there I was in a hurry and didn't get to wander as much as I would have preferred. I'm thinking it would be a great way to break in the new Blue Pegasus (264 miles from NYC to "Toona", hint, hint). This time though, no one will be reporting you back to "home base" for an excelerated riders program, and you won't have to claim anything about speed drying the riding suit....although I wouldn't mind hearing the entire story in person Yes, I'm reminding you to tell me sometime - after all, you are a year older and senility is now a year closer Edited to add some encouragement: Words from Mr. Gotham City: That entire area is a well kept secret of motorcycling roads in the United States. I came across 422 to 22 headed to Holidaysburg. Stopped in Altoona for dinner and set out, in a driving rain, for NYC the next day. The roads of the Altoona area are legend. It was in fact that next day, as I had my Buell factory rocket, that someone on the old CompuServe RIDE forum reported seeing a black Buell, with a rider in a black suit and black helmet pass them at . . . they called it "warp speed", I called it "suit drying speed". It'd been cool if they hadn't ended their post with "Not sure who it was, but I did see WWW.BUELL.COM stenciled on the bags. I got back to East Troy the next week and got a "come here, I need to talk to you" call. . . . hmm. . . . must've been someone else. I'm going to sneak up on you guys one of these days . . . you're only a chip shot from Gotham. (Message edited by Toona on August 28, 2008) |

You just didn't know I was there last week. Doh, and you didn't even call me, I'm self employed and have a very flexible schedule-especially when guests are "in town". BTW, don't they have gas in NYC that you had to come to central PA to get some? I like the way you think! |

This Buell is a funny thing . . . . Ya get on it to run and errand and end up in Delaware, Central PA, Kent, CT or someplace. . . . I think it's a tracking problem. I found, yesterday, one of the most gorgeous rides I've ever seen. . . it was a state part new Bear Mountain. Tomorrow it's off for Northern New Jersey (home of the genius "Aprilla" guy who knows so much about Buell) to play with some of the guys in the Porsche club and scout roads for an upcoming rally. I'll be on the Buell. :} |

Court - happy belated birthday. You're gonna love the Uly (as if you couldn't already tell). Now that I'm walking again (without crutches indoors!), the household goal has moved to a New Years ride (weather permitting). Should be attainable. If you're not doing anything specific, we should find a central location and meet up for some grub and a couple miles together. Kim would love to say hi again, too. Once again, happy birthday sir. Ride safe, and enjoy the grin! |

Court, Happy B-day! I got your email, and sent a reply (twice). But I'm getting Gmail admin responses saying that deliver is "delayed". Not sure if they're getting through or not. If you haven't received one from me, call me. 760-727-2333 Al |
