I am thinking about putting the cr's accessory upright handlebars on my 1125r to save my back. I'd have to use the cr's top triple clamp to do it. I know it's early for the question but I was wondering if anyone knew if cr's triple clamp would fit the r. It seems like it should. |

Probably so, if you can get the parts... The rake and trail, etc., are identical on the two. I've got my name on the first CR hitting the ground in Corpus Christi, and can hardly wait. I'm going to get the wide bar kit with all the lines, and probably do that close to immediately. You might have some clearance issues with the fairing. Convert-a-bars might be another option. Rob |

I am currently looking into convertibars. Here is the url http://www.convertibars.com/. It has the advantage of having already been installed on an 1125R, so it should work. I suppose it depends if you like the look as there will be two holes where the old clip-ons were located. The advantage with the convertibars is that you can adjust up/down with relative ease to get the right riding position. You can even go lower than the original if you are a glutton for punishment. |

I am working on machined billet risers for the 1125R. I plan to use the cables/lines that are listed for the 1125CR handlebar accessory. I should have results and pics in about 2 weeks. |

OMG! OMG! Its awesome!...no word can describe this CR..cafe racer...the gearing..no hesitation....for brand new...lots of changes...dont think you can change the R to this model CR(bars,clamps,cluster)...its got different front..cluster..etc. This bike will go...I rode it a good 10 miles and it will wheelie easier in a lot more gears(i was holding back since i was wearing dealer shirt and new bike)..feels torquier!...with the lower gearing and no hesitation under 6000 rpm...it feels like a dirt bike..moves you forward more than the R..but is so much fun..im 48...a mx and supermoto racer for years and ridden lots of crotch rockets...and cruiser....This could be the Buell meal ticket!
