Yellow and CJM, I'm up for the ride. We need to make it soon before the first frost hits. Gotta search for those long underwear. Racerx1 - thanks for the compliment to the chicks. Bomber - gotta agree with Yellow - you crack me up. Grape |

Mennis . . . .I always felt I was born in WI, and spirited away to ILL by trolls at birth . . . nice to be here, thanks Wes -- although not much work was required, it's always good to have one's work checked by someone who looks like they know what they're doin, yes? Riding together, aye, you betcha . . .thanks for the tip on the front springs All -- A suggestion that MAY make it easier to attract qualified candidates for the position of Activities Director . . . . er, could we come up with a better name? Activities Director sounds like a position at a day care center, donesn't it? I mean, it just wouldn't look right on a patch on a vest that's been soaked in Diesel Grade 80wt for a couple of years . . . . . I mean, which sounds more appropriate to you . . . "Like, Hi! I'm Tiffany Witherspoon, Activities Director at Sunshine Day Care Center for Really Badly Behaving Kids of Yuppies" or "Yo. I'm Bondo Lockjaw. Activities Director of a sickle gang." see what I mean? apologies, clearly, to anyone named Tiffany, Witherspoon, Lockjaw, or Bondo. |

I know I probably shouldn't be putting in my 2 cents worth, but "Ride Coordinater" might be better than activities, I mean most of your activities are hopefully going to be centered around rides anyway, and you are a riding club. CJM |

Twisted Rider (looking for twisting roads) Ride Ranger Route Wrangler Map Manager Map Mangler (I kept looking at "manager" and kept reading 'mangler') Event Facilitator Destination Determinator Route Recon Leader There, that should get you started... MikeJ (resuming my search for a pickup to buy, cheap/inexpensive, since the Merc doesn't seem worth fixing for a winter buggy now) |

Sounds like Bomber's worried about getting picked on at the Highland House. Now, if he could just find a pink riding jacket to put that patch on... (Sorry Wes, I couldn't help it). Anyway, suggestions of titles for Bondo... Event Director Event Coordinator (Activity does sound like an alternative to nap time, where event sounds more like, well an event.) Or, what about simply expanding the existing title? Something like Bondo Lockjaw-type activities director and if you call me Tiffany, I'll kick your ass. |

ROFL . . . . . . . I get picked on at HH anyways, Griz . . . if nobody picked on me, I'd be worried! as for kicking anyone's ass, Id' have to get my knees re-grooved, first . . . . and patch with the word "twisted" on it can't be bad, though, I'm thinkin |

Bomber, Are you a little insecure with your manhood?? Geez, I am sure! You know that my middle name is Tiffany and I am highly offended. Anyways, I think we can discuss this new name next month. I personally, if you care, like "Ride Ranger." Good suggestions Mikej Wes- you rock!! Thanks for the compliment. You look sooo good in pink leather yourself... Grape and CMJ, I think we should get together soon. I was a tad cold so long undies are looking good right now... |

I've got it, Tiffany! We'll call you "Event Planner" or "Activities Chief" or "He Who Plans Stuff To Do" or "The Guy That Knows The Route" or "The Ayatolla of Ride n Rolla" or "The Man Who's Buying The Next Round" or "Mission Miscreant" or "Little Sally Frilly Pants" oh, sorry, I lost my train of thought... or ???????? |

Well, I'm planning on being there, haven't decided on the route yet. Will either be riding solo or with one other unless I hook up with the Brew crew. If I'm on the black bike look for the flagged Buell on the tank, if the white bike look for the hole in the dash plate. And as far a wearing tights, not me, no way, no how. Hey Bomber, isn't "oil-dry" just a fancy name for cat litter????? |

Mike of course it is . . . but oil dry sounds so much more manly, don't it? besides, I always thought that the kitties made their OWN litter . . .buying it seems silly, somehow . . . . |

Hey, whats up with all the activity over here? Up until a week ago, I barely knew the Uke's chapter existed just kidding. I hope to meet a bunch of you at the Slimey Crud. The Brew City chapter is meeting at the park & ride on Hwy 67 & DR (south of Oconomowac). Bomber, I was hoping to have the "other" S3T by then. No such luck The pick-up date got moved back by about 3 days. |

Cj, not to worry about 115 mph on a Blast. I dont think it could hit that velocity if you shoved it out of a plane at 30,000 ft. When the wife had hers the fastest I saw indicated on the speedo was an even 100mph & it took a looooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnng time to get there. Up to 85-90 wasnt bad but after that I almost needed a calender to time it |

Dyna, your right, I wish I had more power when I'm going from a dead stop to get going, that's when I feel like I'm ready to trade up for a more powerful bike !! Don't necessarily want to go faster, just not have the bike in a strain to get it going. Just don't know what to consider next, I don't want anything too heavy for me to handle ! Everytime I talk to someone, I change my mind about what I want or need. CJM |
