I know it is here somewhere...I am planning on buying a XB12 in October and would like to find out which of the Buell dealers in my area have the Pegasus award, is there a database on this site? What exactly is the criteria for receiving the Pegasus award? Marcos in Maryland |

Sold the most bikes. Nope, it's more than that. You also have to have events outside of the dealership, among other things. Ask Court, I'm sure he can fill you in on what it takes. Also, it means not you're a good dealership, and doesn't (I *think*) have anything to do with the service end. |

I had asked the same question and the response was that it was kind of a secret. Not sure exactly why????? Dealership politics I guess???? Find a dealer that you like is close to where you live that you like and trust. I have a dealer that is 5 minutes from my house and I have to drive an hour and a half to a dealer I trust.....weak. |

It's hard for me to believe there is any serious criteria to receive the Pegasus award. I've seen some very worthless dealerships boast of having the Pegasus award. these dealerships not only don't sell that many Buells, but provide terrible service, and have hardly any Buell stuff in stock... |

We are in the running for it this year. If it affects how many bikes we get then I am all for it. Even better if I get to travel to pick up the award. |

It's a bit misleading. The Pegasus Award is a corporate, not a consumer, centric award. Some of the things that factor in are things we, as consumers, would not be concerned with. The problem comes when the award is based on corporate criteria (such as did your Phase 3 order meet or exceed . . blah, blah, blah) and we then try to assume "good or bad" dealer opinions based on ratings. The quickest way to find a REALLY good Buell dealer is to go scan through the sponsors section and read some folks' experience. |
