Sunset Thunder Club had a great ride today, sorry to miss you Loni and Chris. Didn't get your message til I got home but we only waited until 10AM for you. Eric Williams had a good ride I think. Told him he'd have more fun next time when we'd have a group of fast riders for him to ride with. "You mean what we were doing today wasn't fast?" he asked. "No way. We were just cruising today, too much traffic." Hope we haven't scared him off. Nice to feel the cool forest air hit you and wick off the sweat generated in the open roads. Ran about 240 miles, 4 bikes, all Buells. Even picked up a fifth for awhile but lost him between Vernonia and Scappoose. What a day for a ride! | ||

NO WAY you scared me off, I had a blast,(err I mean Firebolt?...) today. Good bikes, good roads and good company. I love going on new roads, even more so when they are crooked as a dog's hind leg. Too bad there were so many cagers out there today and not enought of them felt like letting us screeze by, such a waste of twisties. It was great meeting you guys and can't wait to do it again, assuming that's cool with you. As soon as I got home I tweaked the suspension according to the service manual, but haven't had a chance to ride it yet. I think I'll have to fly up the N Clackamas tommorrow to she what she does. I'll keep ya'll posted. Thanks again for the ride today!! | ||

Steve - Are you and Lori going to the motorcycle show this winter? I know it is a ways off but maybe that would be a good chance for her to meet the gang and twist her arm about Splash and all the twisties! Ray- Bob and Mike are alike! Why they both have motorcycles running through their vanes, they talk on the phone ALL the time, why Bob even has his own bed at our house (ok it is Matt's too). So what is good for one brother is good for the other, share and share alike. What do you think Matt? Are you guys really triplets and Bob's growth was stunted? We are back from a Superb Vacation!!. My time was spent with my wife, my good buddy Mike, and about 20 other Badwebers from 6 different country's. Bonneville was cancelled but a good time was had in Colorado. Ray, 93 HP. and yes it,s plenty! (You know your Ok when your riding ability exceeds the need for more Horse Power!) (Air-a-Gunt I is) I actually thought about it when I walked in the shop Yesterday and saw that Gore-Jus silver 02, Daytona sitting there with a price tag of $8,999. I allmost had a weak moment! then I remembered, You dont need a ton of HP when yer good, (but it helps) Ha Ha Ha ...... Ferris, WTF over? Ya, I'm in for what ever. Chris and I were thinking of some idea's for Packwood and I'm sure he'll fill you in on them. I reckon I could call ya and see just what that brain a yers is up too!. On The Matt and Mike thing, I'll never tell!!! Some things are just better left in the closet. Bicilindrico, us Jerk's did have fun with an International Flavor!! (You shoulda come!!) Ferris it will be nice to see you next year at SPLASH. We have lenthened the route a bit to see all the volcano's. Eric please keep that magazine because I no longer receive that rag. Go figure I make it into print and I can't even see it. Bob and Deb thanks for being travel mates. Nick hope you get this but you made my trip running that canyon in Colorado. See how much more fun a ride can be at above posted speed. Heck we even managed to miss the police and gravel in the road. Matt big brother where are you?
