Yep, all two feet of them. Sure opened up the mrs's son's eyes when he walked in and saw that thing up on top of the bookshelf. I might loan him the M2 and I'll take the S2 on the Crud Run. He's currently on an older crotch rocket, sub-10 second 1/4 mile time bike (he said 8 but I don't know about that). He's currently shopping around for something, probably not a 'busa (ticket prone), maybe an SV series, he's looking at the XB some but I think he want's two-up capability as well. Oh well, I'm playing in the wrong back yard so I'll go back to work. Bye. |

Posted by Bomber "it would be nice to get all the parts at one place " It would be great to not have to buy any parts. Just gas & oil & go go go. The Busa's & ZX12's etc really need nothing added to them. Most folks add an exhaust simply for looks or the sound. MikeJ, no such thing as the wrong back yard. hell I spend just as much time & $$ at Hals as I do here. Makes for a nice ride too. Also gives me an Excuse to stop at the Tumbleweed for lunch or dinner, we dont have one here. |

Dyna . . . . .yer right, I know, but every bioke I've ever owned (including the Jap ones) have turned into project bikes . . . .every one . . . I knew I was buying a kit when I let the M2 follow me home ;-} |

Its one thing to modify a bike because you want to. You know things like exhaust, bars, fender eliminators, etc. Its an entirely different thing when its engine & tranny rebuilds on bikes that are 1 & 2 months old. |

Bomber, You don't know me, although I'll be at the meeting tonight so we can take care of that, but it sounds like you you're looking for something up from a Blast? Well, I'm looking for a Blast while getting rid of something a little above one. If you're interested, maybe we can talk about it tonight. I'll be the new guy with the black/blue frame S3T. |

Griz . . . . . cool . . . . .I look forward to meeting you (I'm a new guy too . .. . no, wait, Dyna's here . . .I've been a guy for quite a while now, and am getting pretty good at it . . . . I am, however, new to Uke's crew . . .phew . . . nother bullet dodged) . . . just be aware that all talks are preliminary at this point . . .it ain't my bike we're talkin about, k? I'll be the guy with hair on the black M2 . . . for some reason, most of the guys at Uke's shave their heads . . . .lost bets, perhaps? |

Actually, I shave my head, too. No lost bet - GF loves it so... Anyway, I had no thoughts of anything other than just throwing stuff around and to see if what we're looking for matches up and if it's worth even talking about any further. Just thought I'd throw it out there and see what sticks... See ya tonight. |

Back issues? I will look, but can't make promises. If I have any ink left in the printer, maybe I can find the time to print up a couple (provided I saved them). Is it just me, or are all of you really looking forward to tonight's meeting? It feels like our little club is headed in a very positive direction! [tear in eye] I love you guys. [sniff, sniff] |
