Well I know we talked about getting a crew together for Sat the 6th at the National flattracks but the actual races do not start until 7:30pm and that means they don't end till very late. Any suggestions as to what we can do for an earlier event with the bikes. They run all day time trials and open at 10:30 am so I am up for trying to get something going check nydirttrack.com |

Well; Terri, Andrea and I will ride down to Monticello today. It looks like it's going to be a wash out for tonight, but tomorrow looks like the weather is going to be beautiful. We went to the races there last year, and it's a pretty neat track. The racing should be really good. |

You guys that didn't make it missed some great racing. Monticello is a Cushion Track, and full lock slides and huge rooster tails were the norm. The weather was beautiful on Sunday, and we had great seats for the races. We only saw one other Buell; an '06 Uly from New Jersey. (It looked like he rode up in the rain as well). We discovered a great pizza joint in Monticello on Saturday night, and had some good conversations with other race fans at our motel. The only things that would have made our weekend better would have been if our favorite racer (Joe Kopp) had a better day (He didn't make the main), and if we had met more Buellers there. |
