My brother in law just gave me his 2001 Blast and it seems to have an oil leak. After doing a little research, the oil is probably coming from the rocker box gasket. The question is , where is the best place to get the gasket? Do I need to go to a dealer or are there web sites to to get parts from? Thanks |

Check out the sponsors section of this website. Get a shop manual before you tackle this. You may want to read about the Blast here on BadWeb. Much information on a great bike. |

Very common, there is an improved gasket that is used now. You shouldn't have to replace it again. |

On th 02 they updated it. PM me if you want some help on it. Blew mine out on my blast, ordered my gasket setup from a sponsor and read up on the manual. I actually found a slightly easier way than the manual states. Had it done in less than 3 hours. |
