eric, did you own this bike? i had one as my 1st bike, bought brand new with paper route money in august 1967 (the month before i turned 16 and got my license) very much high performance for a small bike in that era. i've got a copy of the cycle world road test from its debut. that pic sure brings back lots of grins, many on the rear wheel only. mine eventually got dropped bars, a breadloaf fiberglass tank and matching solo race seat in a corny blue metalflake that matched the color of the original paint. i was the only person i knew with a cafe racer style bike in my peer group. very avant garde, don't you know....

Not mine, but it is my fathers. He still owns it. All original. Just replaced the 1969 front tire last year!!! My late-grandfather used to own a Suzuki dealership in Jasper, Indiana back then and this bike was originally purchased there. Dad put a knobby rear tire on it when we were kids and when it would snow, he pulled us around town in sleds! |

Well I might be coming back to a Buell. I'm in the process of tryin to sell my DragBike project, and very heavily eyeing a couple of XB12Rs. The I4s just don't seem to impress me as much anymore, and the ones that do, are WAY to expensive. |

Hey i have a question concerning the buell firebolt. I was wanting to know if the bike could be lowered any. I also heard that the citycross shock could be switched out but i was wondering about the front forks. |

Hey guys, any plans for another big ride this summer? Two years ago, over 4th of July weekend, the dealership hosted a ride. They had food, door prizes, and sales for the event. I'd really like to come down for another weekend like that and I have a couple other Buellers to bring from up north. Are there any plans in the works? |

unfortunately, NO !! with the demise of brag and loss of dealer sponsorship, our group pretty much evaporated. seems free lunch was integral to our relationship.....no free pizza, no club. some will go to homecoming..... maybe the moto gp weekend will see some action within our group. i plan on being at ims all three days, plus speedway friday nite, and the indy mile on saturday. my brother will be here, wade has some buddies comin' in, and a bunch of guys from the dealership are going as well. keep in touch here. some of us do get together from time to time. |

I'll be in indy all three days for the GP as well. We should definitely meet up. Maybe we can organize a group and do the ride down through brown county. Maybe we could meet at the dealership and go from there. I have at least one bueller and probably another along with my brother in law on his SV-650 that would be interested in that ride. |

seems free lunch was integral to our relationship.....no free pizza, no club. That's a pretty harsh thing to say Eddie. I know it wasn't anything like that for me. Sometimes things come up and other opportunities come along. |

Hello to Brett, Wilson and the rest of you Hoosier Thunders that made it to Homecoming. Had a great time! Brett- Sorry about the 100 mph gopher blood (may he rest in peace)and congrats on being one of four who scaled the dirt hill at the "Homecoming Hill Climb Part II". Did you find a temporary footpeg for the trip back? Wilson- Thanks for documenting the hill climb. Post those photos soon and all will be forgiven for almost making the group miss the Saturday parade laps by dropping your wallet on Route 67. lol. Let's go drag racing! John Windy City |

Doh!! Anyways...We'll have to let you guys down South know if we head down for a ride! |

We have a 15 mile led route, food, music and general party atmosphere. Registration starts at 9AM with Demo's beginning at 10AM running through 4PM. |
