I have noticed when I don't get my daily gallon or two of water I tend to gain weight. It seems the less water you get the more your body retains. Than and it could be muscle from all the work you did this past weekend as well.
You wanna lose weight and get in shape? Eat less, walk more, run if you can. Forget the doodads. Identify/Isolate your goals and match them with target specific activities.
yep- great for GOALIES and other players, whose interests are for things 0other than weight-loss and CV fitness. I am a huge Kettle ball fan, For it's intended purpose.
Walking for 15 minutes burns FAR more calories than tossing a kettle ball. Remember, caloric burn is measured as heat and work. 40 pushups, difficult as they may be for many, burn no more calories than 40 steps walking. The same amount of weight is moved in each case, effecting very analogous burn. 10 minutes tossing a kettle ball, which likely weighs less than the practitioner, will burn fewer calories than 10 minutes of simple walking...and for a non-athlete, it raises a much higher risk of injury, esp. ligamentous and cartilagenous tears. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the kettle ball, it's just not the most effective weight-loss tool, by any means.
its the 40 meter mozy for me. ( till I get to 200 or below its just to hard on the body )
I presume that the cardio stationary bike that I use some mornings uses speed and distance indicated to determine "caloric burn". Some times it indicates heart rate via contacts that the hands touch. the heart rate is intermitting
which is in my at times twisted way amusing as I presume that I must be dead.
