I notice the neutral switch evidently gets "sticky" on my S3 when I haven't ridden it for a while. So far, it always resumes functioning after an hour or two of riding. |

Also do not forget that the neutral indicator switch works off the end of the SHIFTER DRUM ASM. PN 33634-91 ... This could indicate a broken SPRING,detent arm PN 34483-90 or other PLATE,detent PN 33656-90A parts ??? |

Mine did the same -- it was loose connection on the instrument panel. Either reach up under the panel and give a good snug fit of the wire bundle or remove the dash and find the offending wire. Works fine now. (Message edited by sloppy on August 11, 2008) |
