seems to be disintegrating. It seems I have too wipe this stuff off every week. Is my tank going to leak enventually? Can I get a gasket like the newer Cyclones have? BTW, I have a 2000 Cyclone. Thanks mike |

Mine does the same thing. I think it's the thread sealer they use on the bolts. There is a never ending supply by the way. |

this stuff is magic . . . .I've disassembled the cap and it's ring and the rubber sleeve three for four time (for other reasons), and cleaned everything up . . . . and the hylomar keeps oozing out . . . . .I think it is being created within the dark recesses of the assembly, somehow . . . or it's being teleported from the another location . . . . if I could only get my gas tank to make gasoline, instead of hylomar |

So if the magic hylomar is "gone" (apparently this term is questionable with reference to said material), well no evidence of it anyway, does it need to be replaced when I put a new gasket and fuel cap ring back on? Thanks, -Mike |
