Did Singer have a hand in the engine design? Sounds like a sewing machine.

Not quite an Evo with drag pipes, huh. It's not unpleasant sounding bike while on it. I have the music too loud to matter anyway.

Dave - are these wings new to your part of the world? Seems an interesting choice for a review given how long they've been out.

Why I personally prefer my Uly was that this puddle covered the road just around the next bend. I started to ford it, but when the front started to sink in the mud I backed it out and had to detour around. If not alone I would have persisted. I would have gone through it several times rarking up on the Uly.

Another well done review. Did you ever get a change to test it fully loaded?

Thanks. Bit bumbley in the comments, but I haven't written the report yet really - that was all ad-lib. Just in with a week's worth of groceries on board. I understand that there may be philosophical issues with that too. Co-pilot has some issues. She hasn't been on the back yet - she thinks the plastic spatula on the back of the Buell is 'soft' - Just say HTFU issues she has. Personally I was using the heated seat and grips just now. Taking her North for Lunch on Sunday.

...very cool, Dave. I have to admit I smirked when you pressed the keyfob and the trunk popped open. Oh, wait - the 'boot' popped open. I stand by my earlier statement. Jesus that's a lot of freakin' buttons!

I hope it has an Auto Pilot to keep it on the road while the rider is searching for the proper button to adjust the Bass, Mid-Level and treble on the stereo!

Do not overtake Wing commander Dave and Co-pilot on your Rocket III - twice on the straight bits - and the proceed to park it front to him when we come to the twisty sections. You will get your arse embarrassingly schooled. :-)

Kewl vid V8. I loved the scraping sounds throughout. That's the way to ride a touring bike!!!

Not that hard to ride it quick - really. But riding it so it doesn't damage the bike makes more sense. It has 'scrape bungs', but not the intended purpose of the machine. Save that sh*t for the Buell
