http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FRcpG9F3BXo Good tone and a beat you can dance to. Shame it still looks like an add-on. Rather similar to this one. http://www.hdoffrederick.com/miscpage_003.asp Though the rocket looks better tucked. Wonder how it sounds? |

http://www.hardrockmotorsports.com/HR1_web/HR1_WEB _TECH_PG1.html Interesting, wonder what the extremes of adjustment do to the sound. That should be something they have on tape. Showing a model go from quiet to loud with an easy adjustment.. |

Hmm, looks like their design needs work. Not quite ready for prime time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T8U7njCZvsM&NR=1 |

Looks to me like it's tuneable like a SuperTrapp pipe. Nothing wrong with that, and actually a decent design. |

Wow, I love how that thing sounds! If that is close to the actual price, I might have to get one of those, I'll definately be waiting for the dyno results first though... |

Well the website states that the pipes are designed to meet the needs of the Top Pro Racers.........Hahahahahahaha, which racers use these things? The Powerslide gimmick BS would kill any potential sale for me. |

Ok, that's a sales pitch but pro racers use what they're given. So if these guys had the money to sponsor a racer or team and supply them, their statement would be true. Just like any other product that ties itself to a known racer. The exhaust doesn't sound bad but without some more demonstrable data the adjustability is easily just hype. They know it will likely to appeal to joe blow on the street if it would allow him to have a good sound yet easily and quickly make it quiet. That mechanism isn't there yet. A little allen key and a small nub to push. Obviously adjusted on a cold exhaust since he wasn't wearing gloves. |

Looks to me to be the best design yet. Each cylinder has a long individual downpipe that Y's into one. This makes good torque. Then they top it off with most likely some kind of supertrapp design.which I agree looks to good to be true on the adjusting.Ill wait till I hear some more .FRICKEN THING SOUNDS SICK. |

I like the belly mounted exhausts but the Roit dosen't look to bad. I wonder if it will affect lean angle? It dosen't really look like it would but the video wasn't real clear. |

hey guys this is my exhaust. Went to spokane to get it done. Turned out awesome. Was really excited about it then and am still now. Its really really nice sounding and i get all the looks. Biggest thing is the performance gains. Definatly comes thru the rpm's alot quicker than stock, and runs down low much steadyer and with less hesitation and "jerky" feeling. afv's run usually around 101.5 and 99, and i live just about at sea level in Vancouver, B.C. |

D_buckle, did you guys do any before and after dyno work? If so, do you have any proof of horsepower/torque gains? |

D, welcome to Boise. You on a tour of the northwest? If you have a few, I wouldn't mind seeing/hearing it in person some time today. I could even take some pics for ya if you would like. |

Sweet, Nightfire I presume? I was going to try and make it out there tonight, but other things have come up. Good luck, hope you guys do well! Contacted the guys at Hardrock, Jason says they should be ready in a couple weeks. I think I may have to work some OT.. |

Hey guys, Am I the only one who thinks the stock can is BY FAR the best looking design so far??? I would love to have the stock can lightened, (if possible) re-baffled for a meaner, throatier sound and more breatheability like the Saron or Riot, and the spouts re-directed away from the rear brake disk. To me, that would be the TOTAL package! Anyone else agree??? Tracy |

Well, I'd have rather had a full stainless system from the get-go, rather than painted black, which will chip and then rust. |

I agree with Tracy but if the riot is only 550 bucks and has good performance gains I am in |

Hey Dean, I like your idea better in terms of a stainless exhaust, but, still covered in black for the stealthy look! That's one of several things that drew me to this bike. Maybe even a stainless exhaust with a nicely designed carbon fiber cover or "styled" belly pan in black to compliment the bike. Dan, I agree that the Riot's price sounds GREAT in comparison to the other's so far! Wow, some of this aftermarket stuff is getting wicked EXPENSIVE! I need to keep washing more dishes..... Take it easy, Tracy |

I emailed the company as well. They indicated to me that the exhaust is very loud. My question to Dave is how loud is it? Is is annoying loud like a "loud pipes save lives" Harley? It sounds nice in the video, but does that do it justice? |

Yeah I'd hope it isn't "No Officer, I Didn't Hear Your Siren. What's That? Oh, License & Registration, Just A Sec." that loud. Tracy, There have been some photoshops on here recently where the can's been trimmed a bit and, if actually done, would look a might sleeker. Though it could also screw with the power and likely be louder. Hopefully Drummer will surface with another option for people. |
